I have a arthritic hip, and I was given a pair of As ics nimbus 25 in a man's size. But "oh my" I just ordered another pair at $119 because the shoe is worth it . I love the comfort support they give me me.

I was wearing Nike Invincible 3 ..very familar with that shoe. several pair. never paying more than $107 from Dicks sporting goods. On Amazon i got offered a pair of size 12.5 Asics Gel Nimbus 25 shoes ' like new ' for $90 out the door ..so must have been $82 or something pre tax. I'M BLOWN AWAY how bad ass these shoes are ! Asics shoe engineers are unquestionably superior to NIKE people. NIKE sucks. the way the ASICS feels in the heel and just everywhere is ..well VERy NICE ! Now i'm just trying to get a 2nd pair for as cheap as i can. Invincible run 3 vs. Gel Nimbus 25 ..winner the Gel Nimbus 25. So Grateful Asics knows how to make a Great shoe. The only single criticism of the Nimbus 25 is on the interior of the tongue ..there's this thread at the end of the asics tag ..that drives into your skin. I modified my pair on day 1.
Does it require sizing up half a size? What about the width in the forefoot and the volume inside? My feet are 10.7cm wide and size US 10. should i go for 2e or 4e in this? I have the 1080v13 in size US 10 and 2E
I have the Asics nimbus 26 and i have the Novablast 4. This to shoes is the best running shoe ever. I have run for over 30 years and have 110km a week. Hoka is the worst shoe type, worst quality, and wears out after 2 months - holes in the heel are typical and worn out sole
I’m heavy on my feet when I run. Which shoe has more cushioning and absorbs impact better - the nimbus 26 or the novablast 4?
@@jamesk7963 I prefer the novablast 4, I threw the nimbus 26 straight in the trash after running 50km, because the shoe slows down the running steps, they also don't give bounce in the run. Long trips feel very heavy with the nimbus 26. I'm going to buy the superblast 2, certainly with cushioning and bounce in your step.recommend you and buy superblast 2.
Does anyone think the upper is tight? Does it stretch/shape your foot after a few runs?
Is it squishier than the ultraboost? I just want a super comfy super plush squishy shoe for my recovery runs
Ultraboost is way softer than the Nimbus 26.
I wear the 25s for lifestyle and they are more comfortable than UB imo.
I got both (nimbus 25 not 26) and the Nimbus 25 is WAY WAAAYYY softer and squishier and just overall more comfortable in every way than the UB lights, also the UB light stack height is so low to the ground while the nimbus gives WAY less ground feeling (which I love) and way more squish and comfort, plus you can actually feel the forefoot on the nimbus unlike the brick-like forefoot of the UB lights

My friend has the 26 and 25 and apparently the stack height feels the exact same even tho there was a tiny increase in stack height, it also apparently feels slightly firmer (very slightly, only noticeable if you’re really looking for it) and slightly heavier but it looks WAY better and is very slightly (very slightly!!!) bouncier.

26 is still too soft for me, my feet hurts on first 3-5k, and more tired after run. asics made the insole too thick and too soft.
ffs. too soft isnt good. drains your energy
This or NB Rebel V4 for 5-10km runs?
Both are great. But if you want more cushion than nimbus and if you want super soft marshmallow ride then more v4. I love both. And also toe box of nimbus 26 is wider and upper is more luxurious than the more v4.

STOP TALKING ABOUT TECHNOLOGY THATS NOT TECHNOLOGY! Would you talk about the technology in Cheerios when they upgrade the Cheerio factory machines? MAN! This cereal is packed with technology 🤡 speaking of technology, try a 4K camera we’re damn near in 2025

you love that brands totally change their products every 11 months? I think most consumers find it tedious and frustrating to say the least. I have to do 5 hours of research every time I need a new shoe because you can't just get the same thing that works. Most of the so called "innovation" is innovation in marketing gimmicks. Took this joke of an industry 30 years to actually make a single real innovation.
