- This is a demonstration on how to remove the "My Sky" off of the Jeep Renegade. There are two versions of the "My Sky". This can be done on both versions. Used in this video is a 2016 Jeep Renegade, but can by done on all Jeep Renegades.

It would have been a complete demo if you included on how to or show the "power monroof" function. Overall still a great video.
Best instructional video on the net. Well done! My problem is that my power roof will only go back partially before it opens back up again.( it won't close completely).
Yeah, just got mine today and that happened to me ... had to force it closed never opening it again. If there is even the slightest bit of grime in it it will seize. I’m just gonna remove them when I want some wind
@@nojustno6791 The trick is to have the rear tracks generously lubricated. The "safety" mechanism is hyper sensitive, if it senses any kind of resistance it goes into reverse.
Get some lithium grease and spray the crap out of those rear tracks where the rails begin their journey back to the front of the vehicle. Once I started doing that the
power roof worked properly. I had exactly the same thing happen to mine, two weeks after I bought it it started to go in reverse and I thought the thing was defective.
