Everyone saying how at 8:45 when Jane Perry says "Enjoy your ride 47" sounds so familiar. Well Jane Perry is actually the voice actor for Diana Burnwood in the actual Hitman game series.
For games, we are no where close to movie CGI at the moment. It could be lots higher if everyone had supercomputers, or even if all games were ran on the PC. Consoles like the PS4 and XBONE hold back graphics development (in VIDEO GAMES) quite dramatically. These consoles aren't even developed using the greatest hardware/software/firmware, let alone when they're released years later or when they're five years old without a new replacement even in development yet. There's no reason to develop game engines, and graphics engines that will work with game engines, to the highest degree possible because the majority of industry income comes through closed box platforms. Games on the PC have options to upgrade the graphics over PS/XB graphics by a huge margin, however they still use the same engines so it's not like a game on the PC vs the XB is an otherworldly experience. Movie CGi developed on entirely different engines *are* otherworldly. However, they aren't real time renders. Meaning that they are rendered frame by frame, taking an extremely long time to render on computers that are exponentially more advanced then PCs that render video game frame at 30 to 400 times a second (depending on the game and hardware in the PC). Movie CGI rendering isn't even as advanced as it gets either. The bleeding edge of graphics development takes hours to render a single frame. I love how Diana is used in the Hitman games. She's her own character, but she's also an extension of Agent 47 himself. Any other game would have Agent 47 go around with an inner monologue like: "That's Silvio Caruso, my target." or "I can disguise myself as his therapist to get close to him" and make it basic and also sort of ruin the mystery of the character, whereas Diana sort of takes on the role of the player, instructing him and watching him, she's as important as 47 in her own right, so when she's not there, it feels like something crucial is missing, like the safety net has gone, which is used perfectly in the later missions of Hitman III.
I do like how in the very last few missions of 3, when a handler isn't present, 47 can improvise some opportunities for himself but he won't be as descriptive nor prepared as Diana.
