Nice to be the devil's advocate, but I don't realy think so. It does get hot there, but not hot enough to melt PP plastic. And in the remote chance that it DOES melt, at least I'll know what the problem is, and get another reservoir, put it there again, cap in place to keep it sealed from the bottom, and fill it with some kind of liquid to keep it cool. In fact......that's a great idea to incorporate right now. I'll probably fill it with coolant, which doesn't do any damage if it leaks. Thanks. 👍👍👍👍
@@mr_nice. Understood! I think I watch too many videos of people doing home repairs on their cars and it going wrong 🤣🤣🤣 But I like your solution! It's the Citroen way. Innovation!
@@comcarclub ....hahahah.....just like I say brother : Citroens are adventurous cars, and citroenistis are adventurous spirits. Solving problems the easy and fast way. MacGyver style. I can't even start counting the inprovisations I did on the GS to make it reliable. And it DID get pretty darn reliable. That little thing keeps going where others give up. hahahaha....🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 So now you know. Spread the word. If you have some stupid messages on your dash, saying that the braking system is faulty, and you know that there is no problem with your braking system, get a known good, used, brake fluid reservoir from the junk yard, and swap the connector. Easy breazy.....🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Who says modern cars are hard to fix????....not citroens, that's for sure...🤣🤣🤣🤣👍👍👍

Well thanks for the visit, cheers.👍
That's an interesting solution. But is there a chance that the new reservoir will melt or become damaged where it is?
