I have to say after watching this video and going to the casino twice I have made nearly double of what I brought! I mostly focused on being bank unless player shows up more than 2 times and generally avoid the ties. I had some luck streaks of bankers so I was making alot of money very quickly and was even tempted to bet a higher amount than minimum, but held myself back and only paid minimum so I could keep my winnings constant and my losing minimum. Thanks alot for these videos they are really great!

I believe in streaks and betting with the streak. So many people bet against the streak thinking it's "time" for the streak to end. Playing roulette one day and several black numbers came up in a row. EVERYONE was betting for a red number and losing. I put my money on black and left it there. 11 black numbers came up before the streak ended. I won a lot of money. All the other players lost a lot of money.

@@zchamp30 That might work. The guideline i use is: If something happens 3 times in a row, that's a streak. Bet with it or don't bet at all. So if black, red happened 3 times in a row, I guess that would qualify.
I have actually been playing baccarat for the last 20+ years as parttime "job". I win 90% of the time. The few times I lose is when i get caught up and chase bigger wins. You MUST have a big bank roll and Walk away when you win small amounts everytime. Greed is a casinos friend. Once you can learn to walk with smaller wins (it adds up throughout the year) you CAN win consistently. Example: $300 per session x 4 sessions a week x 52 weeks = $62K a year. I change the amount i try to win or how many times i play if i want to try to make more or less per year. Trust me...winning $200-300 is Very easy most of the time (with good back roll) it's the walking away you must master 🥴

Long story short I started playing 40 usd and ended up making 780 usd after 3 days I got greedy and lost everything plus 1600 usd from my own savings.
I was like well "that's the way she goes buddy " best advice I can give you so you can tell your friend stay away from the casino the first comment on this video is on point you can't win maybe small wins but what happen is once you start loosing you start to chase the loose trying to recover you are not thinking clearly.

It amazes me that more people don't choose this game. I think the reason is the fact that the player makes no decisions at all and thus feels like you have no control. But think about it, if you stay away from the tie bet you are giving the casino a very small edge and you cannot mess up that edge by playing wrong.
For me, Baccarat and craps (pass line only with max odds - and just 1 number at a time) are the only games to play because it is impossible to screw up the odds when you play like this.

If, while you are 'enjoying the game', you pay a waitress just one tip, your postive expectation dereasses as well. Did you stay at the hotel casino and pay for a room, perhaps dinner, all taxable interests, or tips for the valet etc. Did you fly or drive there? Taxed as well. Thats where the casino makes their real money so they can build castles in the sand out there. But i know you already know all this. I'm sure your smart wiht your money and chose well. Good luck.

That’s one thing I have noticed about table games. You very rarely ever lose everything down to Zero. At some point you will be in profit although it might be a tiny profit compared to the money you have brought to play with. I always try to think how much my hourly pay is at work. This helps me to keep grounded and not lose focus of the value of money and time which can happen very easily in a casino as you are playing with chips. This has helped me to walk away with my profits a lot.

You win by playing smart and with your own limits. I like to make smaller bets and double my money, then leave. Then come back and do the same :) , rather than some players who bet all their money on one hand and lose it all.

Steve is correct. There are many variations of baccarat and glad you made a video about this game. It is mostly a 50/50 game. It is actually one of the most easiest games to play as well.

One fun thing to notice is that nearly all baccarat tables skip seas #4, and you will see seat #3 then seat #5. This is because baccarat is loved by asian gamblers and in most asian cultures the #4 is considered very unlucky.

I'm a full time Baccarat dealer and I find it baffling how many TH-cam videos claim you can beat Baccarat. People: YOU CAN NOT BEAT BACCARAT. In fact, you cannot beat any casino games (where you play against the house), if you could, they wouldn't exist. Correction: You cannot beat any casino games without advantage play (card counting, edge sorting, ect.)
Dealer or not, I have “beaten” blackjack or craps many times and many times I have not. Call it luck, fate, good timing/bad timing etc. that is why even at “negative expectation” games, you can have some sessions where you have a chance to “beat the house”.
For the normal gambler ofc u lose but if you clearly know the game and card count u close the gap the house has

Very well explained. Played mini baccarat ($25 minimum) tonight and although I ended up losing in the end I had fun. Catching luck on the bonuses, or the progressive bets is where one can really win in this game.
What progressive bets?
Unless you're edge sorting, colluding with the dealer or have some other way of identifying the cards. No strategy will allow you to beat Baccarat in the long run. I will admit the low house edge and the slow nature of the game makes it attractive for recreational players.
I play at a casino with no casino commission. I know the banker has the advantage, so I sometimes do not play a few hands and wait for when the banker will have the advantage. I always leave the table if I double my money (I will play with the extra earnings sometimes), and will leave the table if i lose 50% of my hand. I will then return to the table after a short break and in my mind, the gaming resets. So far I have won 900$ and started with $100. A total of 6 runs. I know im a small player but the extra hundreds of dollars pays for my rent lmao. To me there is some strategy here.. even though technically there isnt.. just my opinion, good luck!

Honestly if you can find a mini bacc table i'd totally try it out. Bacc can be really fun to play as long as you shut your brain off and enjoy it. It's super simple once you figure out the rules and the quick money can trap you. Be careful and know when you wish to leave.
Yes, the issue is that Steve and I aren't fans of shutting our brains off. We both find it a rather boring game to play even if it does have a rather low house edge

This game is one of pure chance. Played recently because it was relatively new and no house commission taken. Choose one of two positions and ignore the 3 side bets.
The key to winning at baccarat on a consistent basis is you need 3 things. 1. A big bankroll 2. The right mindset 3. Skill Set. Once you have a three then its easy money.

Another 'good' thing about the game is that it *may* go slower than other games ( decreasing your bets per hour) - or at least that's been my experience as players discuss; look at their scorecards etc.
There's also the version where there is no commission at all for banker ( what's the way the casino adjusts the rules to make back that 5% Steve? - I forget)

The only misconception is that the dealer will always know the rules. Keep an eye on them, mistakes are fairly often made that can cost you money if you don't call them out.

Unfortunately I’m the opposite camp in that winning money makes me happier than losing money makes me unhappy. Not this time. The dragon 7 bet is the only reason to even play it, if you do it right, since it is susceptible to counting. The main bet is not though. You'd be right about 95-99% of side bets in general though. The only other side bet that's ever good is insurance in blackjack, if you know what you're doing.
Streaks do occur but no guarantee how long they will last it can change at anytime.

I play Electronic Baccarat 2 - 3 times a week in Casino - I love this game even I loose most of the time / only because I stay too long . if you be patient / not greedy / experience / don't bet every hand = you have a good edge. bet tie & pair when you see it consist history = Not Guaranteed but if you play enough @ same casino a lot of times you hit because you already seen / remember the out come = NOT Guaranteed . Most Important Discipline = LEAVE while a head / don't be GREEDY . you want to be on mostly Winning streak instead of loosing streak.

The only way to win baccarat is with EZ baccarat, to count it and take the dragon 7 side bet at the right time. That side bet is vulnerable to counting methods like blackjack, except that unfortunately, it's even less lucrative. It's also a bet that pays 30 to 1, and since you'll be standing around not making any bets for long periods of time, a GOOD day as an advantage player playing baccarat would be a day where you make 20 bets and win 1 of them. That's right.... a good day would be where you win 1 bet the whole day.... and since the max bet is probably 25, and even if the odds are occasionally in your favor it's still a 30-to-1 bet for a reason, meaning the most likely outcome of any one bet is you lose your 25 dollars, and occasionally you'll win 750 instead of losing 25. And it's played pretty slowly, like 2 minutes per hand or so typically, and you'll only be doing this side bet very occasionally, and that's why you'll be standing around for long periods of time betting nothing and then occasionally betting 25 dollars and probably losing it. It would be a really big waste of time to do that, when you can play blackjack instead.
Here are the details. You CANNOT get an edge in the main bet in regular baccarat. HOWEVER, you CAN get a SMALL edge in the dragon 7 sidebet in EZ baccarat, and an even smaller edge in the dragon 8 sidebet. It's not worth your time though. The dragon 7 bet for instance pays 30-to-1, and you'll only very occasionally be taking it, meaning you'll be standing around betting 0 most of the time, and then occasionally betting the max on that side bet of probably 25$, and most of the time, you'll lose your 25 dollars and occasionally win 750 instead. A good day at baccarat would be one where you win ONCE, and maybe take the sidebet 20 times, thus being 250 ahead..... on average, it'll probably be more like taking it 29 times and winning once, leaving you 25$ ahead after a whole day's worth of diligence (and don't forget you also played the main bet 29 times for 10$ each since they won't let you take the side bet without taking the main bet, so maybe you'll be ahead or behind on that)..... or you could just play blackjack instead. Here are the counting vectors to use:
Dragon7 (count #1): 0 0 0 -1 -1 -1 -1 2 2 0 (counting coefficients for A 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10)
Panda8 (count #2): 0 0 -1 0 -1 0 0 0 2 0
You would take a 2-D count, i.e. keep track of BOTH these counts (this shouldn't be hard, since the game is played SLOWLY and most of the players are given worksheets to write on for superstitious reasons so you could actually figure this out on paper! Now THAT'S something you can't do in blackjack!) and you would take the dragon7 bet when truecount1>3.8+.04*truecount2 and you would take the panda8 bet when truecount2>5.1+.09*truecount1. And if you figure out the standard deviations of these counts, you're going to find..... you're not going to be taking either bet very often. Your most likely outcome is standing there all day and never betting anything!

There are some versions of baccarat that are commission free. However, they simply alter the rules of the game to make their money in a different manner. Our good friend. Commission free is called EZ Bacc. Dragon seven banker hand pushes, and during all ties, including natural ties, you lose the bonus bets. That's the reason that bacc game doesn't pay commission. Commission eats you alive on a bacc table.

I play baccarat by flipping a coin. Start off with a new shoe, flip a coin, and see what matches the coin result. I.E. if banker wins, and you flip heads, then heads=banker, tails=player. If you win 3 in a row, pump up your bet. If you lose 3 in a row, get up and leave. I've won thousands playing like this, and have had the table betting with me when I was the only person winning despite what the board says. So far I've had a 60% win or break even rate on my sessions which is a huge edge. A lot higher than the 50% which is expected by flipping a coin.

In the casino royal book they was deciding if to take the extra card or not like on blackjack.
In baccarat the casino represents both the dealer and banker bets. In those James Bond movies he was actually playing Chemin de Fer. It is similar to baccarat, except in Chemin de fer the players bet against each other rather than against the house. One player at the table needs to act as the banker, but each player, in rotation has a chance to be the banker (or pass on it). The players also have some leeway as to whether or not they want to take a third card. I believe that the casino makes its money by taking the 5% commission on bank bets. So, in Chemin de Fer when Bond won his bets he was winning his money directly from the bad guy rather than from the casino. I guess that made it more personal? And, of course, Bond always won so the bad guy always wanted revenge!

What do you think about the "side bets"? At Native American casinos here in Southern California, most have "Dragon and Panda" bets that pay 40 and 25 to one respectively. What are the actual odds of both happening? Are they good bets to make?
The side bets are always "sucker bets", as Michael Shackleford, AKA the "Wizard of Odds", puts it. The house edge on those side bets are not the highest in the casino, but they're way higher than simply betting on the dealer or player hands. Almost won $1,500.00 at 30x1 payout
(X$ 50.00) had I played the player over the banker on this one hand. This happens when the hand is won by 9 points. Doesn’t happen much but it does, and you just never know. Can’t hit it if you don’t play it. If you win the hand it’s still even money, or better for the bonuses.
it takes more than 30 tries on average to hit that. It's a sucker bet. Sticking with straight baccarat loses less money over time.
Today I played, and a guy hit 2 pandas and one dragon in 10 hands. I didnt let it phase me. Play your own game, not others'. Just play conservative and slowly make your money, or bet a lot and make a lot/lose it.

Just remember the casino holds the advantage for every single bet you make. The casino has more chances of winning than you do. In the long run you will lose any winnings back if you continue to play. They don't build expensive casinos because they're handing out money. Do it for entertainment and only with money that you can afford to lose.

Like I said three years ago, have more ways of winning than the customer does. Most people have no idea what the real odds are. Those odds are a lot different than the post-it odds. The simplified example would be like you can win $3 for a $1 bet. What they don't tell you is that you would have to on average spend $4 to win three. Also people just like to gamble. It's their own form of I guess entertainment. Not mine. I don't like the idea of losing money.

You're catching on. The house edge is really just the commission you pay the house and a couple small plays the banker makes. You should always get banker but really the odds are so small it's basically random. Unlike blackjack or and carnival games.

Somewhat but all of those side bets on table games are not good bets at all with very high house edges. I just looked it up and it has a 10.3% house edge. Definitely want to stay away from that.
It's easier to just mentally chop off the 10's digit instead of doing all of that mental subtracting.
Examples;
Chop the 2 off of a 20 to get 0
Chop the 1 off of a 10 to get 0.
Easy.
That's obviously what everyone does.
now how about multiplying two or three digit numbers by two or three digit numbers...... you break the problem down into smaller problems, i.e. 13x 27 in your head you will do (13x 20 which is just 13 x 10 plus 13 x10) = 260 + (13x7) which is just (7x10 + 7x3) = 91 , 260+91= 351
now how about 99 x 17...... might have people in shambles searching for their phone....but its quite simple...........you just multiply 100x17= (100x10 + 100x7) = 1700........now you subtract 1x17 from 1700 and you get 1700-17= 1683....EASY and more useful then your just drop the first digit which everyone in first grade and up knows how to do

There are no professional baccarat players. There was, however, one instance where some people found a flaw in the cards that were used in the game, it is called "edge sorting." They were able to make millions of dollars until the casinos caught on to what was happening. Once the casinos realized what was happening they withheld the winnings. The casinos were sued for the money, but the casinos eventually won the case. Google the term "Phil Ivey baccarat" to see all of the details.

You are welcome. By the way, there was another interesting baccarat case where the players won a lot of money. It happened in Atlantic City at the Golden Nugget. The cards were supposed to be pre-shuffled, but the players realized they weren't. Instead, the cards were coming out in the same order as previous played hands. Since the players were tracking previous hands on their score cards, they knew what to expect and they won a total of $1.5 million. The casino finally figured out what happened and refused to pay them. The case went to court and the players lost. Goggle the term "golden nugget baccarat lawsuit."

In Manila the minimum bet in bacarrat is 20 dollars. Even the locals one bet is 4000 dollars in ordinary table. There are lot of Chinese, Japanese and Koreans bet bigger more.

Why does the casino take money from the winning bank bet
Over time, the bank bet will win more often than the player bet. In order to compensate for that, the housed takes 5% on all winning bank bets. If they didn't do that they would lose money on bank bets.

Take 1 million draws and that’s how it’s calculated. The bank position has a slight edge because of the draw rules for the 3rd card.

You can count cards in baccarat, but it won't help you win because the advantage you get from counting is negligible.

Yes. I figured this out. You CANNOT get an edge in the main bet in regular baccarat. HOWEVER, you CAN get a SMALL edge in the dragon 7 sidebet in EZ baccarat, and an even smaller edge in the dragon 8 sidebet. It's not worth your time though. The dragon 7 bet for instance pays 30-to-1, and you'll only very occasionally be taking it, meaning you'll be standing around betting 0 most of the time, and then occasionally betting the max on that side bet of probably 25$, and most of the time, you'll lose your 25 dollars and occasionally win 750 instead. A good day at baccarat would be one where you win ONCE, and maybe take the sidebet 20 times, thus being 250 ahead..... on average, it'll probably be more like taking it 29 times and winning once, leaving you 25$ ahead after a whole day's worth of diligence (and don't forget you also played the main bet 29 times for 10$ each since they won't let you take the side bet without taking the main bet, so maybe you'll be ahead or behind on that)..... or you could just play blackjack instead. Here are the counting vectors to use:
Dragon7 (count #1): 0 0 0 -1 -1 -1 -1 2 2 0 (counting coefficients for A 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10)
Panda8 (count #2): 0 0 -1 0 -1 0 0 0 2 0
You would take a 2-D count, i.e. keep track of BOTH these counts (this shouldn't be hard, since the game is played SLOWLY and most of the players are given worksheets to write on for superstitious reasons so you could actually figure this out on paper! Now THAT'S something you can't do in blackjack!) and you would take the dragon7 bet when truecount1>3.8+.04*truecount2 and you would take the panda8 bet when truecount2>5.1+.09*truecount1. And if you figure out the standard deviations of these counts, you're going to find..... you're not going to be taking either bet very often. Your most likely outcome is standing there all day and never betting anything!
baccarat is like red or black but with baccarat you don't have the zero's, so it's a much better bet. It all comes down to luck.
