I cant remember how many times it killed our raid when someone did decide to summon a doom guard when half the Raid was still afk during a break and it killed the Warlock for the Ritual :P
@@cultistofdarkness1661 do not worry, the doom guard proc from curse of doom has been bugged to not summon a demon since wotlk when it broke in the code, and has not worked since, if somone claims they got one from curse of doom after wotlk, they are lying^^. Oh, and it is still bugged, so the talent for demo warlock that auto binds it, is a damn joke... especialy since blizz has acknowladged that it does not work annymore..

Every time a soul gem was consumed while the portal was active, a demon was summoned for a short period of time. Malchezaar was a rare pop up, I'd probably say...5% chance?

I've been making new characters, 1 for every class. Was gonna save warlock for later but you know I think I just want to do one now. Looks incredibly fun.
If you're going to level a warlock in Classic, I'd highly recommend the succubus when it's available. It did like 40% of my damage, where imp did less than half of that. It'll start falling off in later levels though. And don't forget, in an aoe fight, the voidwalker is your highest damage-dealing pet. Just sacrifice and hellfire :) You'll save the healer a million headaches.
In MoP there was a sorta hidden synergy with talents. If you got Soul Link and Grim of Sac then you would also gain 20% more hp (plus like 3% health every 5 seconds pre-5.4). Combine that with Glyph of Demon Hunting for some crazy fun PVP
what warrior spells would you like? we dont usually do one of a whole class, usually a concept, or specific spells, this one being a concept of "all demons sumoned by locks" that is an ending to all the specific demon summon vids.
I MISS WARLOCK TANKING. even if i did catch a bunch of shit for it, it was fun when a group let you tank and in pvp ppl didnt know how to deal with you. Thats probably the main reason i liked MoP so much.
Horde warlocks, make sure you do the orcs succubus quest chain, significantly shorter and easier than the undeads. No wetlands travel needed. Just barrens lol

none of the voidwalkers abilities actually "taunt" the enemy - despite what the ability tooltip says - they only causes high threat .. just pointing that out saying the voidwalkers abilities can "taunt" is the same as saying the warlocks Searing Pain can "taunt", which, it can't :P
also, the cost of the dreadsteed listed in the video ONLY accounts for the 150g stardust + 6g Shadowy Potion .. it DOES NOT account for the 250g you pay for 3 other items needed to start the event inside DM West .. those 3 items are resuable .. so the statement that you could save 400g by teaming up with another warlock who have those 3 items and already completed the quest-chain, is just flat out wrong; you can only save 250g, and that's NOT accounting for what you might have to pay the warlock for his time and service
Next idea for warlocks should be a rarity absorption ability, which in turn would transform the Demons characteristics depending the demon that it absorbed, no new abilities, just aesthetics. For boss models, maybe a 5 -10% chance of working.
Not sure why Blizzard removed some of the best minions! Maybe is because they make the Warlock more op, but they could make those minions to be obtainable by questing.
The difference between Bear Form and Dire Bear Form is basically the difference between Mail Armor and Plate Armor for Tanks. Bear Form was a form that turned the Druid into Mail wearing Warrior, and Dire Bear Form turns you into the Plate wearing Warrior.

Dire Bear was the Druid equivalent to this, providing a big buff to defense and HP to match the fact that Druids never upgraded their equipment. When they stopped making Plate level locked they took out Dire Bear and just adjusted baseline bear form to match. Actually a video talking about the armor upgrades and how they got phased out would be a legitimately good topic. You could touch on things like how Shaman was sort of able to quasi-tank up until level 40 when it started to demand Plate, which Shamans never got.
Yeah sadly it is hard to get footage of those expansions as no one does the raids in "level equivilent" groups now, and i dont have alts high/low enough to do the dungeons. so i felt the aniversary raid was a good sit in.
I feel like it was a missed opportunity to not give Demo Locks new cool demons during the Legion campaign. Druids got a ton of cool new Druid forms (which I’m not complaining, I also main a Druid) so why couldn’t a class centered around summoning demons to do all your dirty work not give you more permanent demons? Don’t get me wrong, I love popping Nether Portal and summoning my own personal raid group, but I wish some of those guys were able to stick around longer. Like I would love to have an Ur’zul to replace my felhunter, the jellyfish demon glyph just doesn’t do it for me. Maybe even a satyr to replace the Felguard?
I've asked a million times but never get a response. What is the addon you use for your UI? And the changed font etc. I'm sure it's a UI pack addon but what is it?! I see a lot of people using it and it looks dope
Prob because your asking hiru, all the UI in the video is of me! Its called ELVUI they have their own client so gotta download another addon client, but it is elvui, it also is the font PT Sans Narrow
It will take several hours or days or weeks to tweak it just right for you, but elvui with some plugins and other add-ons makes the game so much nicer.
Words can't express how much I miss MoP Grimoire of Supremacy. The demons not only looked way cooler but they actually did more damage and had stronger abilities. Now they're just appearance glyphs. :(
Wish blizzard just nurf imp DPS and let us spawn 6-12 imps I just want say "im seize him" and like 12 simps swarm and explode on one guy (amount now funny but 12 would be funner)
Also the heart of Azeroth essence visions of perfection gives a chance to use your cd aka if you are destro you can summon more infernals for 8 seconds and this can pop a lot I have had 5 out at once including my cd infernal.
Yeah for destro its infernal, demo tyrant, and aff darkglare, but because its not specific we didnt really mention it here. it was mentioned in the infernal video though!

@@Samagachi It worked best I found when you had multiple warlocks in the raid since you had others who could enslave if the summoner got killed.
i loved transforming into a demon in the demo warlock.

And they killed it so DH could exist... Despite the fact that the Mists glyph provided a suitable alternate name for what to call Metamorphosis.

forgot to mention demons had to get their own spell training through books back in classic/tbc so you had to pay for 2 classes worth of spells
At least the mounts were significantly less gold. It made up for the loss down the road, but at low levels, we were always broke af.

in Classic: every quest where you have to collect x parts of an animal, like 4 zebra hooves, 10 pig snouts or 10 bear asses
What about escort quest in mist or was it in warlords of drenor
Demonology's Mastery in Cata was 10% Increased Fire and Shadow Damage, each point of Mastery increases this by x%

Doomguard wasn't "removed" in BfA, it was added back to Doom (Talent).
not realy, it is broken in the code, a doomguard cannot spawn from it... (has been so since wotlk coding)
