I have the same exact brand 1 inch spacers on my challenger RT on the factory rims and lowered on H&R springs with no rubbing at all. I did, however, run into the same problem with the rims not seating flush because of the protruding studs. So I took it to a shop to get all the studs trimmed down and it worked out fine.
If you don’t wanna run spacer but want that look and less of a chance of it falling off get scatpack datona wheels they fit on your RT like if you were running spacers cause they are 1.5 inches wider

can you stagger spacers? like 1” in front and 1.5” on rear?
I don't see why not
Yeah shouldn't be a problem I have wider spacers on my z in the back and have no issues
What size tires you running ?

Was the stock studs not sticking past the spacers?
No usually 25 mm clear the studs
