One of my most favourite drummers ever in such detailed video, wow!
Some key takeaway for fellow drummers: Kashikura thinks 602 Classics are more soft and gentle. For himself, Kashikura uses (602) Modern Essentials (a newer product in the 602 series). It goes with an amazing range and works well both for gentle and noisy sounds.
For daily practice, Kashikura does a lot of basic stuff such as single/double stroke. He also pretty enjoys playing with the electro drum pad recently. At a higher level passion also supports him a lot so he feels like ya I'm at the studio so why not just have fun.
In live performance, Kashikura pays special attention to feeling all instruments as a whole, while adding fills or patterns out of his personal style. He seems to be aware that he draws a lot of attention in the band (lol). He emphasizes a good mix between being a part of the band but also fully unleashing himself at times from time to time.

一番最初の1stミニの頃からなので当時が懐かしいです。
当時この界隈のバンドはFUGAZIよろしくDIYアティテュードで、バンドで食ってくつもりはなくてバンドやるために仕事するって感じだった。
TOEも柏倉さん以外は本業を持ってて木村カエラバンドの前、ドラムチューナーの仕事してる時代なんてCATUNE時代の某レーベルメイトは柏倉さんはフリーターって言ってましたｗ
そして今TOEがこんな有名になって柏倉さんが色んなアーティストのスタジオやツアーやってプロ一本でやってけるようになるとは当時は誰が予想しただろう。
同じくドラマーとして目立ってた元54-71のBOBOは今はMIYAVI等のサポートで有名になったし。
DOWNYのドラマー秋山さんも凄腕なのでもっと単体で露出して欲しいところ。
