Before claiming that the last decade and pop music is anything to be excited about. Try listening to pop music of the last 50 years and ask yourself if we've not actually gone increasingly backwards. Taste, it's pretty undeniable Pop music today is overly manufactured, superficial and for the most part lacking in originality. Yes, we have teams of songwriters now writing songs that will last for weeks are months before they disappear, as opposed to a single person coming up something that will last for decades

Obviously my favorite pop song on this list not that I’m a big fan of pop but I like dynamite by BTS because that was the first full link English single that they release. I discovered them at the MTV video music awards back in 2020 when this Covid hit and they helped me on my bad break up with my last boyfriend I also like their songs, butter and permission to dance but I’ve been listening to their old stuff a lot and I saw them in Vegas about a year ago which was fun they are the reason I got into K-pop
