I don't listen to a whole lot of country music, but "Before He Cheats" by Carrie Underwood is definitely one of my favorites. It definitely personifies how I felt being the victim of a philandering ex-lover. Except in my case, the philandering ex-lover was a woman I was engaged to.
I don’t listen to country that much but my favorite country artist is Carrie Underwood. She is pretty much about the only country I listen to. I have been a fan of hers since she auditioned for American idol.

Hit 'Em Up, at least for me, should be way higher up this list. The first time I heard it, I was fresh out of college and had a couple of rough breakups. Everything from the song style to Blu's amazingly unique voice, the sass, the lyrics... all of it was a game changing breakup song. I still love it to this day.

Yesssss!!! Ya'll added Aaron Tippin's song Kiss This. Such an ICONIC SONG. LOVE IT!!! And it's such a twist. Because it's not a woman singing it, but a man singing about a woman who's scorned. Another good one is What Kind Of Fool Do You Think I Am by Lee Roy Parnell.

I miss the 2000’s so much, they were the good old days. Times were more simple and people were just a lot more outgoing and there was nowhere near as much hate as there is now. Music today is a joke compared to these days. Musicians actually recorded their songs rather than through the use of computer assistance. Good times! 😊
