Hi Laurette! Thank you for the shout out if it was meant for me 💕 I don’t remember if I ever told you but I worked for CALFIRE (formerly CDF) for 22 years of my State career and retired from there. I always felt very honored to work for them.

Beautiful! Today's Quote: “When words are both true and kind, they can change the world.” -Buddha. I've made a few cigar trinket boxes and Altoids tins too for friends and family. We used little metal corner legs or wooden beads for legs. They're so fun and pretty. Joey has surgery Friday so Joey has surgery Friday so I gotta stop being dizzy from sinus and ear infection, so I can drive.🥴 Huge hugs, Namesta 🐞🐞🐞

Enjoy our beautiful California weather. Thinking of driving to San Clemente Beach this Saturday. They have a great second hand bookstore called Beach Town Books. The shop is a block from the beautiful Pacific Ocean and there are some great restaurants there.

Hi Laurette!! I love your decorated cigar box....beautiful!! The wood bobbins are going to look wonderful decorated with the lace wound around them and then the dangles!! Gorgeous! Ok I sympathize with your husband on his shingles. I’ve been plagued with them for 30 years. Even lost hearing in one ear from shingles destroying the nerves. (I have a pink hearing aid tho 😜). Stress brings them on I have found. Even if you don’t realize the “stress”. Hopefully he’ll be on the mend very soon!

That was so fun watching you craft and deciding what you will add to all of it. I Love it all and the pink paint is so pretty. The cigar box is beautiful and I love all of the images you are working with to add to the lace bobbins. Sorry about your Hubby I pray he gets some relief from the pain. Excited to see it all done. What kind of glue did u use to cover the box? Did you have to sand the box first? Did you have to cover the box after with mod podge or something? have never done anything like this before so would like to know. Thank u.
I used Fabri - Fix glue to glue everything on. No sanding or sealing. It was a new cigar box in perfect condition. You can seal it if you want to sell it or use it forever, it may smear or run your ink on the papers if you used an inkjet printer to print you designs.
