When I saw that ink guide from Joann's it kind of made me sad. As you may know, Joann's, while not going out of business is doing a Chapter 11 restructure and is closing a lot of stores. The one I go to in Md, isn't closing, (yet) but the shelves are not stocked well...many with huge gaps with just nothing on them. And they don't have near the amount of paper crafting supplies they used to carry or in many cases, it just looks like they're not restocking. I think some retailers are hurting for help too. And Michael's? They're not advertising near as many sale prices on the shelves like they used to, but have signs all over saying they've reduced prices on thousands of items. Both of these retailers sell a lot of items online that they don't have in their stores. It's just getting where I don't bother going in stores that much bc they won't have it and I'll have to order online anyway.
Yes. It’s sad that so many brick and mortar stores are going this way. Our JoAnns is always so empty and out of stock. I like being able to see things in person but we are basically forced to shop online.
Amazing finds the $20 was well worth it!! You did good!! Before you get rid of foam letters and numbers try 1 out in your junk journals you would be surprised How cute they are👍👏👏

I found that Ben Franklin stamp set online. It said it was from the 1920's! A 100 year old toy, that's awesome.

So much great stuff! The $20 bin was worth it with just the containers inside - the contents were a bonus. Those sets at the end are great!

Drill a small hole in the top of the trains and use an eye screw in the hole. Make a hanging charm on the binding of the book.

GREAT finds!!! I wonder if the Big and Juicy ink pad was stored horizontally with the green ink at the top causing the green ink to flow down?!?!?
Oh. That’s a good thought. I tried it a few times and it still is all green.
The wooden trains would be so cute to paint and then drill a little hole through them to add to a dangle on the spine of the journal.
