Welcome to the “Amazing Cigar Box Transformation” video. I found an authentic “Cigar Bar” recently and bought some of their used boxes. I have transformed two of them for you into high end, French Country, shabby chic pieces.

I love the feet on this! Very unique. After retirement my Dad decided to take up cigar smoking so he's always getting these. He just throws them away so I asked him to save them for me to repurpose. I like lining the insides with a soft material or cool craft paper. Peel and stick wallpaper works really good too!

OMG!!! THESE TURNED OUT SO BEAUTIFUL. My husband is a cigar smoker and I don't know why I've not thought to do something like this with some of the boxes. Of course we've used them to keep things in..but now I know exactly what to do with them... Thanks Brenda!! 😁👍😁👍😁🤗🤗🤗🤗

I love crafting/DIYing with anything wood.
I have a very dear friend who was born and raised in Cuba and now lives in the US. He would have a heart attack if he saw what you did to those cigar boxes. He has an extensive collection of cigar boxes in their original condition, stickers and all. Most cigar boxes are made in Cuba and are works of art.
TIP: Best way to get no bleed when doing stripes is lay down your tape,
paint the stripes the same color as background,
use a hair blow dryer or heat gun to dry,
paint the second color and remove tape.
No bleed through because the second coat of background color has sealed the edges of the tape.
Yeah there was two of the boxes that I bought that day that I could never change. They were exquisite!! I’ve found that several people actually collect them. That’s a really cool hobby.
And that tip is priceless!!! Thank you so much for telling me about it!!!🌹🌹🌹 I used to do it with Mod Podge and forgot to do it. But it really like the idea of using the base coat, because sometimes Mod Podge drys with a different sheen than your paint.

Wow…. I wish I could get ahold of some cigars boxes. They make beautiful decor. Indie Annie Jones made a beautiful decor piece out of a cigar box. I want to say that she made a purse out of one as well. These are beautiful Brenda! Looks amazing! The stripes looks like they were made on it. And those little round handles set it off. Love the stripes on the second box as well. I love the feet on them as well. Beautiful Medallion. I love them!

Ms.Brenda, these are absolutely stunning! I would love to see you do more. I have recently got my hands on a few cigar boxes and could really use more of your ideas and instructions. Thank you for sharing these. I am just in awe at their beauty. Oh and another thing, the wonderful scent from the boxes is amazing I agree. They are a high end cigar and so they have an awesome scent. The wood is very dry because they have to keep little humidor packets in them to keep the cigars in a neutral and stable environment. They can't have too much moisture. I have recently been educated by husband on cigars. He smokes about 2 a week. Lol. Thanks again.

When we go to Clearwater I take a day and go to Tampa Ybor city and buy cigar boxes. There’s been times I thought we would not be able to pack our luggage back in. Love these
