Noddy Holder was absolutely correct in this interview about everything. from how the group started. to; Chas Chandler being Jimmy Hendrix manager and SLADEs manager. to; how they got their first hit. to; Dave Hill wearing the wildest costumes. to; their closest competition being Marc Bolan and T Rex. buy the way I'm also a huge fan of T Rex along with SLADE. to; them having the biggest Christmas song in Rock and Roll. to; them settling in as a great Rock and Roll group. to; after twenty five years together Noddy wanting to see what else he could conquer in life. leading to the group splitting up. to; the group giving us one of their best songs "My oh My". which buy the way is a song that everyone should hear right now. in these crazy times that we live in. I have been and always will be a huge SLADE fan. they are one of the all time great Rock and Roll groups no doubt.
Hope he does don't wait until one you guys has died.totally get how he didn't want to keep touring, and the hassle of it but why not a new set of songs a TV special, that would be nice.
I never get sick of the Christmas song, it's a banger, I do get a bit sick of hearing Wham's last Christmas although it's a decent song, I'm not sure if it's under rated but Chris Rea's Driving home for Christmas is a great song.....I saw an early concert of Chris Rea with Dire Straits also, I think it was the Dire Rea tour from memory, another time I got to see Richard Marx along with Skid Row in the late '80s, from memory that was called the Skid Marx tour, I've got plenty more where that came from, I tried doing Stand Up Comedy but found my legs got sore after too long, not much market for sit down comedy unfortunately so I became a small businessman, approx 5 foot 4.

Love Noddy Slade classic and very underated
Noddy is very honest, and he tells it how it was, no airs and graces about this guy. What a singer, What a band.
1973 the country was on a downer and slde gave us some light at the end of the tunnel, and we need slade now as there is is a downer once again.
Woke PC culture is why we're on a downer
Thnx!!!
🥰
Mitico Noddy❤❤❤
My mum thought he was a better singer than John Lennon.
