Now Ur doing good regular upload.
A very cool setup indeed. Have you considered using dirt and sand to create an even more natural ecosystem for the guppies? Would like to know ifyoure worried about maintenance
I would like to ask.
1.When it rains, will it be dangerous to guppies?
2.If it rains, is it necessary to change the water?
Can you make ecosystem keeping fish without giving food everytime (self sufficient ecosystem container) I want to know if that really possible in small container like this
Do you have an idea why some guppy grass die or like they go brown? and do they submerge naturally or they should keep afloat?
I started my journey with guppies inspired from you , thank you albert ❤
direct sunlight po ba yan? at ilang oras din?

Hi Albert, my guppy grass is covered in hair algae and other algae, how do I prevent this, is this good for guppy grass?
I was having problems with algae bloom. My water in my indoor tank set up was turning green within the week. The problem was that I was using the light too much. I basically did water change, and I stopped using the light for long. My water is clear.

No, no direct tap water, they contain chlorine or chloramine which may harm your fish. The water change is too frequent, with that 5 fishes and plants, you could even water change every 1or 2 weeks. You could buy tester product to test water yourself. I had 20 adult guppies giant 100L tub, fed 3x per day and my ammonia, nitrite, nitrate 0. The key is plants, lots if possible.
"tap" water doesn't mean "city water" - our "tap" water is from a well and does not contain any added chemicals.
He's using well water. He lives in an area where those chemicals aren't in the drinking supply so his fish would be fine.
His water changing methods are good too in this style of set up because he just has aeration not filtration hooked up. Yes he adds beneficial bacteria but with the frequent amount of water changes it never gives the BB time to build up but it keeps the guppies safe from new tank syndrome.
Also frequent water changes make guppies grow really fast and help them get to their max size. Which matters when you are a guppy breeder like Albert and myself. A test kit would also be pointless in his situation because once you set up your tubs hundreds of times they usually turn out the same using the same method every time. No need for testing when you know what you're doing. Plus if the tub looked like it had a problem then he can just dump it and redo for cheap. He may not even be able to get test kits in his area.
Also he did add plants...
Wow it's almost like things can be done differently in the hobby based on where you live and what supplies are available to you and how much someone knows about eco systems and the nitrogen cycle
I've used many of Albert's methods with nothing but success. I have 200+ rusian red lace guppies right now in a 30 gallon long tub and many other tubs set up thanks to Albert's methods.
You had 1 tub of 20 guppies? Albert has over 100+ successful tubs and he breeds beautiful guppies, I think he knows what he's doing 😂
1. Its on the subtitle tho, "direct tap water AND deep well is recommended" 😅
2. Most people seeing this video are mainly newbies in fishkeeping. Its cool as reference but they must know why and how. 😊
3. We call it fishkeeping not fish farm. 😅
It might be cheap to you guys who are near farms and breeders. But those who views this might not have the same condition as you guys. 😊
