i got a lesson from sungha's old guitar teacher, he told me that when he was younger sungha couldnt match the tempo and the beat with his playing so he got in trouble a lot. the teacher was worried about his playing and if he'll even get better. But now he acknowledges that sungha is a good player. practice makes perfect ^^

Sungha plays this beautiful song so beautifully. Both the words and melody are beautiful, it's one of my favorite. That walking bass is so hard to play along with the chord melody. Amazing. I can understand why anyone would have a timing problem. This is the first time I heard Sungha. It won't be the last, for sure.

I've been commenting on a lot of your more recent videos, and the conclusion I keep coming to is that you're just an amazing musician. Especially guitarist. That walking bass line accompanying that melody is just unreal.
The fact that you managed to get a walking bass while fingerstyling melody and rhythm part simultaneously is just incredible! I still feel freaked out that you are the same person I interviewed so awkwardly (I was the awkward one) 9 years ago! If I would critique anything here, it's the fact that the guitar sounds slightly out of tune. :P
Thank god I wasn't the only one who thought the guitar is out of tune. His technique is amazing, but scrolling down and reading all the comments saying it sounds perfect made me think I have a stroke.

And I would argue most ppl loving music (no matter the artist or genre) don't actually know music theory and even understand/hear when something is out of tune. I have several friends who are like that. It annoys me, simultaneously as I envy them not to have to worry about stuff like out of tune strings. 😅
