    Thank You for posting this vid. It solved my "broken battery" problem. After watching your vid I checked for blockages. Funny enough attachment just above the brush was blocked. After removing build up of hair and dirt, my V10 works like it was brand new. Cannot thank you enough. Simply AMAZING.

    Thank you! I found my filter to have cat hair; I rinsed and even ordered new filters. That didn't fix it. After watching this video; I found the very last thing you showed to be the culprit. I'd had powdered cleaner delivered here and it was punctured so I tried to vacuum a small amount up from my hardwood floors. That's when this problem developed. Where you showed to remove the clear dirt canister and look at that last portal; it was almost impacted with fur and powder mixed! Thanks so much and I learned a great deal on maintenance on this dyson. I have a V10 animal. Again, a weight off my shoulders! A+++

    If you put a section bounce sheet in the bin it reduces dander cling and the fine particulate sticks to the bounce sheet. It does miracles in keeping the screen clean as well instead of always tapping the canister in getting the fine particulate out. Works amazing.

    Hi there. First of all thank you so much for this helpful video. My mom’s Dyson suddenly stopped suctioning. We tried all of your methods for cleaning it, but so far we’ve been unsuccessful. Is there any way you can help us resolve this? Thank you in advance!

    • @parwaz7861
      @parwaz7861  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Glad I could help! Everything to check is pretty much covered in the video, is the suction strong from the main unit? Is the bin fitted and closed correctly? If you have tried a new filter and the suction is still weak, there must definitely be a blockage somewhere
      Also try getting an air compressor and blowing the dust out the metal shroud when you remove the bin, the small holes can be clogged with dust

    • @parwaz7861
      @parwaz7861  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, the V8 sounds perfectly fine. It’s designed so that when the vacuum is in the charging position on the wall, the flap closes to prevent dust and dirt from falling out the vacuum, the suction of the vacuum opens the flap

    Would a blocked HEPA filter cause air to come out from the filter itself? I've tried several filters and I've got a V11 with poor suction and I've noticed that there is a loud air noise coming from the filter area, not sure if using a cheaper replacement filter is causing the issue, or if there is an issue elsewhere within the vacuum.

    • @parwaz7861
      @parwaz7861  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If the filter is blocked then air will struggle to escape from the exhaust so the motor will start pulsing if there’s not enough airflow

    • @Drpepper99uk
      @Drpepper99uk 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@parwaz7861 it was the central chamber which was rammed full of fine dust causing the issue in the end. Unbelievable amounts of dust and fluff inside it causing the HEPA filter to bypass air resulting in a total loss of suction. None of the included Dyson instructions or videos showed that this could be an issue, it's only because I'm handy taking things apart and rebuilding them that I managed to solve this issue. I do need a new filter now though as the original is worn out from repeated washing.

    • @parwaz7861
      @parwaz7861  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think that usually happens when you vacuum up large items of debris and it gets caught up in the top of the bin and then the dust and hair gets caught onto it

    Hello I’m having this same issue with my v11 I’ve replace air filter with a new one. Vac motor head is clear, the long tube is clear and so is the vacuum it self. I’m still having the vacuum suction pulsing, what else can I do to fix this issue thank you.

    • @parwaz7861
      @parwaz7861  ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m not sure what it could possibly be other than the shroud in that case, make sure the metal shroud is clear and the inlet where dirt enters the bin, also knock the cyclone against the ground to loosen fine dirt build up inside-
      I’ve pretty much summed it all up in the video and if it still does it, it may need a new main unit

    hi I recently fixed the trigger on my V10 put it all together again and it just kept giving me the blocked pulse and wouldn't work so I got a new motor unit, (vast experience). but it still wouldn't work was pulsing still. so I reckon it must be the filter have ordered a new one have had the filter for over a year has been washed many times. what do you think? the new filter should arrive later this week if that's not it then it's something else and it's confusing.

    • @parwaz7861
      @parwaz7861  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi the motor would only pulse when there is a blockage and there's not enough airflow, its usually the filter that's blocked due to the ultra fine pores, they can get blocked when washing them as the fine dust turns into mud so worsens the condition of the filter but if its not the filter it's absolutely blocked somewhere in the vacuum's ducting

I did not know there was that little window which I assume is normally where the dirt passes through and goes into the canister, correct? That was my problem and once I clean that out all is fine. But I'm gonna open it again today and try to clean the mesh part, and maybe clean the bin but atm there 0 blockages. Also does it usually spit out hot air from the filter? Like I meant hot like 42°c or around 90°f (rough estimates). Because of not then that's probably a problem.

      What does the motor sound like on the lower settings - does it make a pulsing sound? If so, it indicated there’s a blockage somewhere

    • @parwaz7861

      Does the white filter light flash on the battery or is it just blue lights coming on?
      If it’s just blue lights the motor may be seized from a wet filter
      Or if the filter light is flashing with no motor sound check the filter is fitted correctly
      If it pulses on and off the filter or vacuum will be blocked
