Dear Sir, Thank You For your pains you've taken in teaching these concepts of various devices . You have done a beautiful job. Can't thank you enough for you work .
Well explained.sir when we doing practical can we use rheostat to as variable resistance.and also sir I have only 9 volt stepdown transformer.can I use it?
Very good. Only drawback is that the video is not HD, thus much of the text on the diagrams and schematics is illegible. The poster should re-post all of these videos with higher quality video resolution -- at least 720P, or 1080P.
sir, Why the forward voltage of SCR reduces from the point of forward breakdown voltage whereas in diode the forward voltage is not reduced when diode starts conducting?
@raghavendra rao Because in SCR we have a junction where the diode is reverse bias.So when it suddenly starts conducting it is quite natural that the voltage is dropped heavily. But while studying the diode characteristics it is always forward biased when a positive voltage greater than 0.7 V is applied. Now , this little voltage (0.5~0.7) is what you see even when SCR gets forward biased.Hence the voltage drops back to that forward bias voltage of the diode. It's that simple.!
Respected Sir, At 27.15 u said depending upon the magnitude of gate current one can switch off this( i think it is ON instead of OFF . if there are only two methods to turn on scr , one is to apply small current through gate terminal as u said earlier. i just want to clear these point that what is the role of gate terminal to make scr on or off. please help me to understand this point .

Now, i am watching this video..... how u guys see these old memories of watching this video ????
😀
genius.......what a explanation with experimental demonstration.......
Tomorrow is the internal of power elec and i didnt even know what is scr... But now i understood it well and wont even forget it . thnx :)
Excellent lecture sir.
I understood it very well 👍☺️☺️
Superb explanation sir!!!!
this helped me lot to know about scr. thank u sir
its really useful sir.......thank u soooo much........
Well explained.sir when we doing practical can we use rheostat to as variable resistance.and also sir I have only 9 volt stepdown transformer.can I use it?
Definitely understand much much better now.
Very good explanation. Thank you:)
bruh leave it to indians to guide you throughout your college life. god bless you guys
Great knowledge sir 😊❤️
thanks a lot sir.fabulous lecture.
Excellent explanation..
Awesome!...Thank you sir:)
very well explained!
Nicely explaination. control input is importance than control the output

Plz set on 720 pixal
*BOWS* thank you so much sir you are superb :)
he explained it a lot better than my teacher in highschool
Thanku sir finally i understood SCR......
..
sir,
Why the forward voltage of SCR reduces from the point of forward breakdown voltage whereas in diode the forward voltage is not reduced when diode starts conducting?
i think after forward breakdown, junction j2 jas been damaged. so there is no need to maintain such a high voltage( approx 200 volt) for contunction.
@raghavendra rao Because in SCR we have a junction where the diode is reverse bias.So when it suddenly starts conducting it is quite natural that the voltage is dropped heavily. But while studying the diode characteristics it is always forward biased when a positive voltage greater than 0.7 V is applied.

raghavendra rao irrelevant question
What is the thyristor used because using BT 151 this experiment doesn't work properly

How gate trigger switches ON the scr.
thanks a lot sir !!!
Thank You !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
nice video
thank you sir thank you very much
thank you sir.nice video but pls improve the video quality..
very nice
Thanks.
thanks a lot
Good one ....from chile
thank u so
so much sir
Thank you sir
thnks a lot
these are the best lectures for basic thyristor knowledge but i can"t able to download it...............
thanx

the teacher has cool hair xD
not satisfied sir very average lecture
thank u sir
thankyou sir
Thanks sir
