Friends! Sorry for the delay getting this latest one out. My trusty Fender Princeton has been giving me real problems (I think something to do with the biasing of the power tubes), and so I haven't had an amp for a while. Until I can get it fixed, I've bought a Vox AC10 as a stand in - I've been getting used to it over the past couple of weeks, but right off the bat I can't say I love it for the jazz-ish stuff I usually play. I also don't love the speaker - if anyone has any good recommendations for a 10 inch speaker for this amp, let me know - I'm leaning towards a creamback at the moment.
Either way, I hope you enjoy this vid. It's an arrangement of one of the best known standards: Take The "A" Train, popularised by Duke Ellington and composed by Billy Strayhorn. It's played through the Vox with some verb and delay from the Earthquaker Avalanche Run. Hope y'all enjoy.
