I might be wrong but I don't think the Angus cows produces milk as they are classed as beef cows you'll have to sell them to make a profit. Not sure tho. Great video as always Daggerwin!
Plow the empty land near the horse paddock then re-drill it with grass. It can be your extra source for hay/silage. Also the cow you buy is breeding cow for beef so dont forget to sell them once they're mature enough and invest in animal trailer.
Im definitely not an expert on the game but I have watched you play enough to think that the repair icon is way more important then you think, for instance the amount of fertilizer you put on may be related to the spreader repair icon being in the red. Just seems to me, that would have an impact.

Pulled in behind the house there was like 5 cars parked and a couple nondescript buildings, still not a sign on the place... it was the right place! They packaged fresh herbs, that day they were doing fresh Dill so it smelled really nice.
I would recommend that you have a look at the enchanced animal system. In my opinion it makes having animals much more fun. And now that you have angus which is a beef cattle I would recommend installing the butcher mod which makes you able to produce beef products and sell them for more profit!
As mentioned by a lot of others already: beef stock does not give milk. Only the top 2 cow breeds do (it says in the text too: this breed does not give milk). Another important thing: with Maize plus, you need to get to at least 70% by combining the food type bars to have them eat and to get them healthy and produce offspring and/or milk. So at least Base food + Roughage OR Base food + moisture food + Power food. To make your life a bit easier, you can give them Conditioned Grass, that fills all food types equally.
You should get a mixerwagon. Maizeplus has many different recipies for TMR. You can even mix pigfood in them. Those recipies look daunting at first, but some of them make TMR very easy to make.
You need to factor in the milk that fully mature cows would provide over the 18 months it takes to raise a calf. I bet the mature ones are a better deal overall. Mature cows will reproduce as well, giving you free calves.
The MaizePlus PDF indicates that animals need at least 70% to be productive. Providing hay for your cows would bring them to 70%, but you'll be hard pressed to get milk out of them. 😅
I’ve done that too. The map is so well put together, I was driving back to my farm and just completely missed the farm and kept on driving because I was so immersed in the map and soon ended up at the border

You should really look into stone/ lime production as the the stone creates a free lime for the crops growing increasing the yield potential of the crops than always using fertiliser, also slurry and manure is also a good free fertiliser than always using solid or liquid fertiliser as they tend to be quite expensive. These are simple easy examples of saving your money significantly in order to help you buy new equipment and land
Daggerwin, you must fill all food requirements, otherwise they will not produce anything. Best option for cow is TMR. Since it fills all requirements. For chickens, is chicken feed and wheat.
Maize plus is such a waste of time. Its way too much work. Not getting eggs, wont get milk from Angus and after all the cost in eventually getting them food they need, youre losing way out. Already losing out on chickens and rabbits on top of it. Its just a huge waste of time.

Buy cows at 18 months, keep health at 100%, at month 19, theyre worth about £900 more each. Sell m, buy new 18 months old. Around 35k to be made each month. Or keep m longer and they increase more(but not as fast as that first month)

Angus and Limousin do NOT produce milk, with or without maize plus. @daggerwin, you'll be waiting a LONG time for milk from that Angus purchase!

Yeah, most machines lose some productivity when they are broken. Drills take more seed, harvesters lose yield and so on
If you run it with a full repair bar you go 18 to 20 instead of 8km/h witch makes quitte a difference.

Ide say you were getting your silage out of a bunker, that was made into a clamp. And manure is more usually found in a pit or clamp.
