Beautiful Eugenia brasiliensis. I might have missed something. Did you grow this from a cutting or did you purchase from a nursery that grew it from a cutting?
@@TheMelvinWei ,how is your Rio grande cherry doing? Have you tried growing from seed? Someone gave me a fruit to try, nice blend of flavor, sweet and tart.
I am unsure if you have ever heard of an aerogarden but I was wondering what you can and can't grow in this type of system. I have found some stuff will not grow it mushed out my seeds but seeds were suspect. But I am experimenting with different seeds. Also how about a group of videos about fruit you can't buy in stores because their shelf life is short like the pawpaw and honeyberry
I've never heard of this, so thank you Melvin as I'm always looking out for plants that are different and new to me.

Nice plant, what's the name of the nursery? I am also in San Diego.
It's Exotica
Ive had mine in the ground in South Florida for several years. Very very slow growing and no fruit yet unfortunately.
Wow several years in Florida and still no fruit? That's disappointing.
Be patient cause they are delicious.
I really like this fruit, unfortunately it is not much known here, even being native to my region.
