When I was in college in the 80s, I was a co-op at IBM, and one of my jobs was testing this PC before they released it (code named Renegade) to see how the performance compared to a Compaq Deskpro 386 and a Mac SE!
The old keyboards are so good, I have a unicomp model m recreation, while I haven't used the ibm ones, based off my experience with my unicomp keyboard that uses the same design, those keyboards are great, the sound is satisfying, and you get this click that really improves the experience
I want one so bad now 😂 But I like to have just a couple of systems, make them complete (software, hardware, manuals etc. ) and doing good research to know most of the things about the systems I own. The basic principles are the same, but the computers (especially the earlier ones) work a bit different because there were no real standards back then. But great video mate ! I really love to see those systems up and running!
