They’ve actually done away with the 10 day sensors since I made this video, Kai Ciccone. They’ve been replaced with 14 day sensors-and a 1 hour warm up. I’ve never been annoyed by finger sticks anyway, but there’s really no need now. There is also little need for finger sticks over the course of the next 14 days unless you’re experiencing fast moving blood sugars or extremes, either high or low. I personally do not trust any of my sensors enough to do a food or correction bolus without a finger stick, but there are people out there who feel comfortable doing so. All in all, it’s a good little sensor. 🙂
Sensor useable in 12 hours? I thought it was useable in 1 hour, the "warm up"period. And said you used skin-tac. ONly then you didn't use the skin tac. You need to slow down a bit when making these.
Thanks for the comment, Jeff S. For your information, this was the 10 day sensor. I made the video in October of 2018. I just moved to the 14 day sensor about a week ago. On the 10 day sensor, it was a 12 hour warm up. With the 14 day sensor, it’s now a 1 hour warm up. And I actually did use the Skin Tac. I used the alcohol wipe first and then fanned the area with my Skin Tac wipe packet. Then I tore it open and applied the Skin Tac. It’s a wipe, not the liquid.
Hey, highly informative. Thanks for making such video. Look forward for more knowledge from you. Would appreciate if you could share your email id. Cheers!

This is also a great trick. I’ll have to put the next expired one up into my cabinet collection of strange but fantastic diabetes trinkets and doohickeys. It’s my favorite cabinet in the house. So, just to make sure I get it, you’re basically just tricking your reader into asking you to do what you’ve already done but still need approval of?
I complicated it. You made it simple, and I tried to get cute. Putting my next expired one away foe a rainy day. :)
Good video
Thank you kindly! :D

if your new sensor will be ready in 12 hours di you have to go back to finger pricks for half a day ? annoying
In very simple terms... Just scan to the sensor...
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS @NICKY GHALEB
