Klara is 100% correct. Robbie has been very disrespectful to Palmer.
Even at the Euros Palmer has been a better player once he's on the pitch. Saka is talented and has been decent at these Euros, but Palmer has made more of an impact when he's come on.
The moment trippier came off, Saka moved to left back, and Palmer on to play Saka's position, we attacked a lot better.
Yet delusional Robbie will still say Saka is the star of the squad this tournament.

@@wastedcenturyI'm a Plymouth fan, I have no allegiance to Chelsea. I'm speaking from an unbiased eye on what I've seen this tournament. I know the big 6 clubs tend to be very biased to their own players, you and Robbie are proof of that as Arsenal fans.
The fact is Palmer coming on helped change the game and got us going forward more. He got a 6.2 rating because he lost the ball a few times, but he did it at least trying to get forwards. Saka kept passing it backwards. Palmer wasn't the reason we won, but he was the spark that started the fire in getting us forward.
Again, I like Saka. He's been brilliant in past tournaments. But so far this tournament he hasn't been at his standard. That said out of the starters he's been the best forward player. Bellingham has his 5 minutes and then goes quite, Kane scores a goal and is done, and Foden has been pretty awful (though he's improving as the matches go on).
But so far the subs have been better. Toney was pivotal and involved in both goals. Palmer we've already discussed.
What we've learnt is Southgate needs to make these subs sooner.
Palmer comes on against tired defenders. Put some respect on Saka🕶️

The person who pulled that stat was wrong. btw Saka has 16 ovr goals, and the palmer has 13 non pen goals .in all comps palmer has 24 goals and 13 assists and saka has 20 goals and 13 assists. The whole essence that palmer has been clear of saka this season is disturbing when it not even half true when palmer is used way more by chelsea than saka is for arsenal

@negberrrr being used less means there is less reliance on you to put up big numbers but arsenal don't require that cause they have odegaard havertz trossard etc. Chelsea require palmer to put up numbers to keep them afloat so his numbers are inflated, if Chelsea had goalscoring potions that aren't palmer he wouldn't score as much.

But let's assume he had better attacking teammates if Chelsea created 100 chances last season and palmer has the majority of them it's different than if Chelsea have 130 chances and there are 2 or 3 others to share those chances with palmer and he won't have so much responsibility

We have a national league standard manager who picks the same team no matter what unless he's forced to by injury or suspension, being picked by Southgate is no flex. Palmer had a far better season than his Saka in his debut season in the PL, in fact better than ANY of Saka's seasons...
