Self worth is influenced by your environment (location), social circle, upbinging, media, system of racism if classified as black
If its tied solely to monetary gains then i concur but if its tied to non monetary stuff like losing weight to be healthier, reading books to be wiser then such endeavours can contribute to self worth.
