My three favorite parts are the organ player , the monster coming out of the wall at you and the wild Amazonian man who screams arrrrrrrrrrrhhhhhhhh at the end .
I always brace for it. The only thing that makes me jump/close my eyes is the clown that dropped from the ceiling and he isn't even that scary... I just don't like clowns lol
It looks decent on video, but when you’re actually there it’s complete freakin’ madness. You don’t know what’s coming and it’s always so different. Very fun.

My family and I used to go on trips to Knoebels in the summer when I was very little back in the early 90’s, and this was my absolute favorite ride! I haven’t been there in over 20 years now but I actually had a dream about this ride a few nights ago out of the blue and decided to look it up on TH-cam. The thing i remember most about this ride was the room with the skulls, which it looks like they may have changed. But either way this brings back such good memories from my very early childhood. This ride is nonstop, unfiltered, sensory-overloading chaos. In person, it's loud enough to make your ears bleed and dark enough to fuck with your head until you're wondering why you decided to pay a fee to put yourself inside it. 10/10 would ride again.
The last time I was there, the "upside down skeletons" room was the bouncing skull mirror room... I know that that changed a few years ago though, and I'm glad that they did... the glow in the dark paint was starting to loose its glow. I'm so excited to get to go back this month for my birthday!

I love this ride. I go on it at least once when I go to Knoebels. One thing though is that I have sensitive ears when it comes to rides ever since I was a kid so I have to cover my ears when going on the ride. (If you ever see pictures of little me on rides with my ears covered, it's because it's too loud for me.) And because I have to cover my ears, my dad thought that I was scared and was trying to hide my eyes from his view and thought I had them closed.

Technically its all on the first floor. The platform does go up an incline in the attic area which raises you approx 4ft off the ground. Its very evident in the dungeon room.

I went on this ride once when I was a little kid during a family vacation to Knoebel's. My cousins wanted to ride it but I didn't want to. My parents made me ride it though so the whole time I was crying and shoving my face into my mom's stomach so I wouldn't see anything.
The only part of this ride I really hate is towards the end with that car horn blaring really loud. I always have to cover my ears at that part. Not at that tribal guy coming up from the bush screaming for some reason.
I've never been to Knoebels... why is there a Congo village warrior in the Haunted house? is it part of the story but you just can't tell in the video? Or is the house a series of jump scares with no particular story?
I was 6 years old in 1997, my parents thought it would be funny to put me on this. After the first ten seconds I started to cry. I ended up running up to my mother.
Back when I was really young my parents thought it would be a good idea for me to go through with a family friend. He thought I was faking being scared... I wasn't faking it lol

I just rode it today. This ride gives me a good laugh. The bus lights at the end sometimes catches me by surprise though even if im anticipating it.

It looked like they bought all the cheap Halloween stuff at party city that no one bought, threw it in there, and turned off the lights.
