Very excited for Feb2uary. Two player trick taking games are so interesting to me, it feels like they shouldn't work but I haven't been disappointed by any I've played. And this one looks super interesting, love that they added the mancala and the spring/summer scoring rules are super neat
I stumbled on this one when I was researching 2 player trick-taking games and I really gotta get it some day. It looks so fun. Glad to see a proper video on it. Thanks for that! (Time Palatrix, too!)
@@ClaudeAndTaylor That's exactly why I'm going to end up watching all your videos and I'm subscribed. I love clever game design, so I really appreciate you making this channel. (Being entertaining and having resources helps, too. Haha.)
Whip those animals! It be-hooves you. This sounds nuts and also awesome. I can see that all those rules would take a bit of practice to get in a good flow, but what an interesting mash up! It seems inevitable that I will make an order from Japan some day. Thanks for that.
Hey nefertarij, thanks for noticing the puns! 😅🙌 it is nuts, but I hope the good kind like cashews and almonds. I can totally see that being inevitable; Japan is just too great at game design not to!! 😁😁
Hey kingplayer14! 😁👋 This one is a tough one to get a hold of; I got it at a game convention in Tokyo. But! There is a document that James Nathan made to help people buy games from Japan. I've copied it here: docs.google.com/document/d/1SaOZxGzLntJ7yhpx3CpRtvsZwfINvRiyqEwJqJi62z8/edit?usp=sharing I get some from bodoge.hoobby.net/market/pickups/gm2020autumn through buyee.jp/ and some from www.suruga-ya.jp/search?category=50100&search_word= through zenmarket. The last link might be your best bet. That is a resale site, I believe. Other than that, I had a friend grab it from the For Trade on BGG recently.
Thank you for putting together such a wonderful, clear video for this game. Subscribed! :)
Oh my gosh!!! Thanks so much, ThinkerThemer 😁🙌 Y'all's videos are amazing and this means so much!! 🤩🥳
Love everything about this.
It's the bees knees! Or the dogs knees!

Every time! I totally agree that it just always seems like it shouldn't but does work. They're a new one called Hameln Cave that is awesome so far!
