I’m mad about mal not being there
There is a reason why she didn't make. Other women were better then her and competed in a higher standard then her. if she wants to be in it next time, she is going to have to play at a really higher standard. I think of it as is you have to beat someone on your team and outplay each person or try to. If you don't then you are out.

Honestly do not understand why people are surprised about Pugh. Have they actually watched the games? She has been awful and playing with no confidence. If you ain’t good enough, you ain’t on the team.

I've never understood the hate for her. She's a fantastic player and proves it every damn time she's on the field. So what she's confident in her abilities. She's a damn good player and deserves to be there.

The excitement I feel knowing....and I mean KNOWING ....that there's gonna be someone stepping up. It always happens with this team. The second that someone does something seemingly impossible, someone else comes along right behind and does something even more impossible. It always feels like this with this team. They remind me of the 1960's Green Bay Packers in that way. They just have an endless variety in ways to win. Relentless perfection.

Camila XoXo all great players were “inexperienced” when they first made the roster. It’s how they became better than everyone else to stay on the team. They need to give more chances to “inexperienced” players
@@mackenziemonahan1766 I didn't mean it as a bad thing, just that as she was just drafted not long ago, she probs isn't used to being an elite player and throwing her in front of the biggest sport event in the world will pressure her too much. Plus she hasn't even connected w the team yet probably and that's what we need to win, a good established team.

Her injuries hurt her development. She stopped improving even after her first injury, she lost her explosiveness and doesn't seem to know how to play differently.
No Mal Pugh, No watch USWNT or attend any games! She gave up a lot to get where she is today and they just dump her?....not cool!
She is not ready yet, she haven't been consistent. Give her more time, when she realizes all the potential that she has, she is gonna be unstoppable.

tobii not necessarily. The Olympic qualifying roster is a different roster from the actual Olympic roster. Qualifying is 20 players and the second roster is 18 players.
Not really, for example Alex will be playing in the actual Olympics, but not in the qualifying

Lloyd and Pinoe were never getting cut. It’s their last Olympics and Mal Pugh wasn’t consistent in 2019 when she did play. Morgan Brien didn’t make it but I’m not complaining. Y’all wanted 2 captains cut with the 3rd one on maternity leave? No

Well, I guess it’s a good thing that you don’t pick the team. It’s not a popularity contest and they’re choosing based on quality and skill. Mal’s not ready yet. She had a promising start when she was 16-17, but she’s dropped and others have risen. It’s a competition and the goal is to win games, not happy smiley contests.
