SOFITEL HOTEL, LONDON HEATHROW AIRPORT, TERMINAL 5 (LHR): HOTEL & ROOM TOUR

I recently had a very early start for a British Airways flight from Terminal 5 at London's Heathrow Airport (LHR) and so I decided to stay in an airport hotel. I chose the Sofitel Hotel which is literally IN the terminal. It's a French brand and quite upmarket and I was excited to see what it was like. This video offers a review of the whole hotel as well as a room tour and also looks at ALL its facilities, which are very good incidentally. It was a good-size gym, a spa with a hydrotherapy pool, two good restaurants and if you buy a more expensive room you get access to a Club Lounge which serves free drinks/snacks/breakfast etc. I slept really well - the room was lovely, the bed was excellent and the bathroom was particularly divine with high end French toiletries and even a bath as well as a TV. I wish I'd had more time to spend in the hotel/room quite frankly - there was a coffee machine and kettle too. If you're going to stay here you should make a day of it and come early so that you can make use of the spa etc.
