That is interesting about the Taj Mahal. I had the same experience. I was on a group pilgrimage in India, and the tour went to the Taj Mahal. I could have easily skipped it. It did not do anything for me at all. I would much rather sit quietly next to a waterfall in the woods.
I think that the monster we all making bigger is Russia, well, are we making it smaller? It will become bigger until we give it understanding, and we give it another choice
My best friend has suffered rape and torture every day since she was born to age 6. I am very sorry but a monk that comes from a loving home cannot speak about helping the less fortunate because he has no idea what their life is like. The teachings have helped me but for the less fortunate would be nice if monk with s traumatic past could step up to the plate. Thank you.
