@@yeniboyut thank you! It depends, on this Itiwit 2, for winds up to 10kts + sail up to 2.0m2 + my weight 60kg+, I don't feel like it needs a stabilizer. If your sailing region has bigger winds or gusts (eg. 14-20kts), you could opt for a smaller sail about 1.5m2 and less chance on capsizing. To me the balancing/stabilizer kit adds up to bag weight and also hydraulic-drag when it skims the water surface. Let me know if you need anything else 👍🏼
Why is it not better for securing a rope to mount a cleat or cam cleat instead of a bolt with a wing nut and a washer in the center of the pipe? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cleat_(nautical)
Good question 👍🏼👍🏼 Yes, you could also use a cam cleat or line cleat if you could get some. The wing nut and washer would be an alternative for those who do not wish to source/spend for extras on the cleats
Yes, you could use a cleat, but for me it's harder lock and unlock everytime when setting your course. But, if you could lock on the cleat on a single hand, sure, that would work fine 👍🏼👍🏼
Great video cool guy ; )
Great job bro. may i ask you something. Do you suggest outrigger Stabiliser/Balance kit instead of leeboard for very Windy weathers?

@@sitb- line cleat - these are two sticks of different lengths, attached with two bolts or screws)))
