Redwood National Park - Trees of Mystery - Fern Canyon - Fall 2022

Photos, time-lapses, & videos from my final camping trip of 2022. It brought me to Redwood National and State Parks during the Elk rut. This had it all, redwoods, Endor, Jurassic Park, elks, the coast, and milky way stars. I was able to catch a Friday off and stole a march with an early start. After about 10+ hours in the car, I made it to Elk Prairie Campground. Nestled in the redwoods, this is now one of my favorite campgrounds. Here is the full itinerary:
Friday: Drive from Seattle (stops at Salem OR, Grants Pass OR, Crescent City CA), Wilson Creek Beach, Trees of Mystery, Newton B. Drury Scenic Pkwy, Elk Prairie Campground
Saturday: Fern Canyon Loop Trail, Gold Bluffs Beach, Trillium Falls Trail, Lady Bird Johnson Grove Trail, Redwood Creek Beach, Elk Prairie
Sunday: Elk Prairie, Drive back to Seattle (stops at Crescent City CA, Tri-City OR, Woodland WA)
