Hi i made this today, i was in search for a good kadala curry, and this was it! It was so aromatic and the gravy was so thick and it was so yummy with puttu.

An old subscriber & fan here...have a doubt... Would it be different if i just blended the material raw first (like one pot cooking) with all the ingredients except chana and then poured it in the pan with oil and let it cook?

A small tip... Just coarsely grind or pulse 2 tbsp of the boiled Kadala (chickpeas) and add in the curry..it gives a good creamy kind of taste and blends well together.
