High Peaks Trail Cromford to Parsley Hay

A visit to the Peak District to tick off a trail from my Bucket List. This is the High Peaks Trail of 3, the other 2 are the Tissington Trail and Monsal Trail which I have already completed.
The ride really starts at The Cromford Mill taking in the canal path before reaching the start of the HIgh Peaks Trail.
Nearly 18 miles with 3 steep inclines. The first being the toughest and most spectacular. Running along side the Black Rock area. The trail is full of history and good viewing especially at the tops.

Nice vid did the middleton top peak trail end aug .. gonna do it from high peak junction next time .

I enjpyed them both but they are different. A nice steep incline awaits you there however I do enjoy the canal run before it

Good vid, done the other main peak trails except this one, you’ve made my mind up, think I’ll do the stretch from Middleton Top to Parsley Hay & avoid the two steep inclines from High Peak Junction. Kudos for the inclusion of HMHB. If you’d have seen Fred Titmus out and about on his bike, you’d have got bonus points ;)

Thanks for your comments. Yes HMHB, it has been a few decades since I seen them but the songs remain firmly imprinted in my brain
