I also had to fight with a plant today, my giant black raspberry was leaning because of a storm and I had to redo the stakes for it. Can't say I'd recommend that, the thing scratched me up and I had to be so careful not to break off any fruits. But they are so worth it! All the pollinators love the raspberry flowers. And I struggled to remove my thai con from her pot because she was so root bound there was basically no pon in the pot anymore xD
Today has been a bit crap for me, evening hit and I was thinking "hmm, let's see what Kaylee is doing" and you did not disappoint! Exactly what I needed - that even the best of us deals with the smallest and silliest problems aka pon everywhere, old roots there too, plant don't fit, plant don't hold up, running out of tape, etc. You made my day!!! :))). and you know what, I went to a show and they have me a gift - a small succulent and I am like - f*ck sake, another plant to deal with LOL
Whenever I have a crawler floppy in their pot like that, I tend to wrap the tape clear around the pot so it's on the stem rather than the petiole. Looks ridiculous until roots get going and stabilize it, but it works!
Sorry you’re still not feeling 100%. Whatever it is really got a hold on you 😮💨 On a positive note, I got to do a psychology workshop with horses this past weekend! It’s was so great. I totally understand why you work with your horse for mental health 😌 Fantastic animals. I wish I could hang out with them in the paddock and walk around with them every weekend ☺️ I’m already eager for the next workshop announcement, I don’t even care what the topic will be 😂
Can we please talk this pasta silver vs mamei silver cloud please?! That’d be a fun video! Pasta seems larger petiole to leaf ratio? Mamei has pretty ripple on petiole, and pink sinus. I only have the mamei silver so it’s hard to make some real differences and comparisons!
You know how we all have little icks. Mine is using a pot to scoop pon as it leaks out. Worse than getting dirt under my nails! Also that pasta is gorgeous makes me rethink my dislike for them.
In my experience with pon and LECA, the top of the pot is usually mostly dry, so the location of the cut with the airiness of the pon (and/or LECA) should be fine.
@Kaylee Ellen can you tell Ben I’ve been Waiting over a week for his email reply about my plant . Please check email not sure if your shop is having email issues again Thx
Poor plant. I subscribed for 5 minutes until I saw you do this. What a disaster!! This is NOT how you repot a crawler people. Get a trough and don't hack it. 😢💔
You generally look better if you don’t give unsolicited advice about people’s appearance. She’s not going to stop doing what she likes because some weirdo thinks she cares what you think 😂
That was a coco plug.
Maybe it’s coconut fibre?
Yeah, the remains of a coco pot.
What’s in here?!
NoooOoooo
What’s in HERE?!

7:25 it's a coconut plug/coconut fiber from the coconut husk. I totally get the question marks, not very pretty when it breaks down 😅🙈
Your chaotic repots are the best more please! 😂
In US, Dollar Tree Store has a 12 pack of 2 ft, or 61cm Bamboo Skewers in the summer BBQ department for $1.25 a pack. Work great for plant stakes
babe wake up a new kaylee vid is out!
You almost had it ✌🏻

from danmark, Hi, Kaylee Ellen- love your videos. they make me smile, you are so funny, nice that you don't edit out all the imperfection.
Its coco husk or fiber
This was fun and relatable!

You have beautiful plants ❤
I wish you live close to CA 😮😞 I would order so many plants from you!

Part of a coir pole?

What kind of plant was up?
Isn't the stem likely to rot since you didn't let it callous first?

@@marierejoiceinjesus3846 ah ok thanks for the answer 👍
Your W sitting posture is very bad, for longer time. Take care of your self and plants.
Oh Kaylee, it was not your day. Wishing you better health and a better day…
Why don’t you put it in a rectangle pot.
Tree fern fibre?
Coconut husk
So you chopped the plant to fit the pot 😂😂 seriously 😳
A rectangle pot
What brand of self watering pots
Do you use?
She uses Elho. They're great

Don't you have the impression that your new pot is already much too small for your plant? 😇
💚🌱
Looks like a big chunk of coconut husk.
