There are some settings that you can apply with console (you can open it from options menu or by pressing ~ on keyboard). *hlvr_shotgun_reload_shell_count 1* - By default, you load 2 shells in the shotgun at once (but the game shows only one shell in your hand). This command makes you load every shell one by one. Less easy, more realistic (and more badass >:) You can also move the HUD right to your vision, so you will be able to always see your health and ammo like you're in a helmet. For that you have to enter these commands: *hlvr_handhud_enabled 0* *hlvr_hud_axis_lock_to_world 0* *hlvr_hud_height_adjust -6.5* - maybe you'll need to adjust that if the hud is out of your vision *hlvr_hud_scale 0.4* - and maybe this if it's too small
Some of your crowbar hits feel a bit off because iirc, one of the mods you installed also lets you hit things and enemies with all your weapons, and with your empty fists if you want. Unless you didn't install the Unleashed mod. Could be due to a mod though. Ladders are indeed weird, but it's either grab it while you're falling down, or disable the immersive mode for the ladders. The textures looking pixelated at a distance is not the Quest 2's fault, that happens when textures don't have mipmaps, it happens on flat games too. Textures with mipmaps adjust their resolution depending on distance, so a 1024x1024 texture could drop to 128x128 when it's too far and there's no need to be as high as possible.
I was waiting for this episode with mods to see your reaction and I'm glad you've managed to run them! Funny jump in your heart in 28:40 :D btw maybe you should consider to shoot with aim down sight, because these bullets are going all over the place :D
Thank you man. I agree on the aiming thing. I recorded an episode last night of Gunman Contracts HLA mod and noticed my aiming. It's cool it has a gun range. I really need to practice. Instead of spraying and praying. 😁 I'm amused by the heart rate monitor myself. Can I do more with the floor and ground textures too?
@@beyond_xen I don't know if there are any textures for floor/ground. I also just used HL2VR Essentials with zDak and nothing more. But I wouldn't be surprised if there are any on nexus mods or moddb.
@@zipsta Thanks to Windows updating drivers without my noticing it reset my sound level. Sadly that was pre-gain, So no amount of limiting would have saved this audio. So it sounded like it was louder than it really was. But I did get louder than I intended. I don't usually get this hyped. I was just having a really good week and had some outbursts of excitement.

I think the ladder problems are from the "grab point" for the rungs of the ladder is not exactly aligned with where the rungs of the ladder physically are. you have to grab a bit below or above the rung to grab it. Idk if this is an issue with the new textures or the VR mod. Edit: you may have figured it out later in the video, If it's just what trigger you press my theory's off
