I just made that today .. but I don’t have that bamboo toe thing .. where did you get that ?? I used the banana leaves that were left over into long strips ..
after wrapping it w/banana leaves wrap it w/ aluminum foil ,use twine or thick thread .. if u don't have .. place the side where its folded and put heavy plates ..if you don't have any of these ..don't worry abt cooking ..
Shruti Wani pandan leaf works like vanilla bean. it's a flavor inducer. you can find them in most Asian grocery market. try the frozen section if you can't find fresh.

Did you cook it on low, medium or high the entire time?
