    1: How long is the kitas for?
    2: Is the requirement 2 years in university, or a 2 year degree with certificate?
    3: Is there anymore requirements besides a 2 year degree? Seems a little to good to be true especially in comparison to all the requirements for the other visas.

    B211a/visit visa issued for 180 days straight is only for pe-investment and apprenticeship.
    Number 12 is not a Digital Nomad visa but refers to the Working Holiday visa hence the educational requirement.
    Remote Worker visa caters for those employed overseas.
    Elderly visa age limit of 60 is for both the 1 year or 5 year permit. The 5 year requires the 50k USD deposit and 1 year requires a sponsor.

    • @WhatsUpBali
      @WhatsUpBali  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes is true.. The digital nomad is the on the 2nd home visa I mentioned in thr video.. That requires 2nd year university approval and minimum yearly income..

    • @MichelleMic-gg9dp
      @MichelleMic-gg9dp ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry but you are incorrect. Remote Worker Visa (Pasal 63) is a sub category of Second Home. It requires -Evidence of Immigration Guarantee in the form of proof of a salary or income of at least US$60,000 (sixty thousand US dollars) per year and
      Evidence of employment contracts with companies that are legal entities outside the Indonesian Territory. 2 year university approval is not a requirement. 2 year university requirement is for limited stay Working Holiday Visa (Pasal 33 number 2, letter l or number 12 as you described- which is not a digital nomad visa) Working Holiday visa is currently a C320 visa.@@WhatsUpBali

  • @mrmr314
    @mrmr314 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Well all good but everyone wanting to "live in Bali" needs to understand that you will be spending your money up there. And a lot more than you think. That's the entire idea from the central Indonesian Government (currently in Jakarta and shifting to Kalimantan). It's not for backpackers, hippies, low earning so-called "digital nomads" and such. It's for wealthy mature people. And you can't own property in Indonesia (an apartment as Oke mentions). Unless you have an Indonesian wife/girlfriend etc who will literally own it (using your money), it will be held by some other Indonesian person, or majority Indonesian management company or corporation. Required money planted up there can indeed earn a bank interest rate or stock market or mutual fund performance, but the latter carry the usual (heightened) investment risks, you need to be good in the stock market just like at home, and besides that you are constantly spending your money (stock market brokerage is relatively cheap though). As Oke will tell you, you can't open a bank account in Indonesia without having the correct visa.
    There are c. 300m Indonesians (no-one really knows), and some 4.5m in Bali (not counting foreign visitors). What, do you think they're all trying to "do business" there too or just you? Then you have all the wannabe long-term stayers all trying to earn money. It's not as easy and possible long-term as everyone thinks. Many fail and end up back at home but without their money because it's all been spent. For older Australians retiring on their superannuation or selling their home, yes it's possible but it's your deteriorating health and Medicare card you have to worry about as you age and fall apart (which is guaranteed). You must have valid upmarket health insurance for Indonesia (a big ongoing cost), you need access to A-1 doctors and medicals, and your Medicare card will expire back in Australia after around two years. What if you require urgent major surgery as you start to disintegrate and you fly back home (if even able) and your Medicare card is no longer valid? Yes you will be able to renew it, under certain "resident" circumstances, but this is going to take time and be a hassle (it's the Australian government remember). You can't just go and live in Bali permanently and still have your Medicare card.

    KITAS holders required to pay tax, even your retirement income

    • @WhatsUpBali
      @WhatsUpBali  ปีที่แล้ว

      No.. Only the working kitas and the PMA and investor kitas which must pay income tax

      Texy..Yes correct. If you hold a kitas you are automatically classed as a tax resident and liable to pay tax on your global income.

      To be honest, i dont think they dont really expect much of these new additional kitas... Seems it just because of order from higher up who dont really understand the market... IMHO

    Gotta love the Indonesian government. One of the poorest countries wants the highest investments and posts the strictest rules. Need to invest 300 YEARS of the average Indonesian citizen salary to qualify 🤔

    Whoever decided that $3,000 USD/month retirement income is easy to get is mistaken - Millions of people can not earn that much even doing 40hrs/week work!

      Yes agreed .. Now is easy only nees to show bank statement and have USD 2000... Not monthly.. But later is difficult
