    If you apply online for a 30-day visa on arrival at US$35 and want to extend for another 30 days, you can do it yourself. I did it in March and it was approved on the spot for US $35. No need to use agent or visit Immigration office.

I have never been to Indonesia, and they do not have a retirement visa, but I may still want to come and experience Bali for 6 months sometime soon. What I really require is an intelligent lovely Asian woman like you 😊. Hey Jean, you did a very good job describing different visas. For sure get a good agent! You said people could buy land with one of those visas. As far as I know a foriegner has to have a Balinese partner with over 50% ownership, which means the Balinese is the owner. I would be really careful with this idea and get a lawyer fluent in English. As you said it all keeps constantly changing, so good luck everybody and have a good time here and be safe and respectful. Be aware that a lot you see is an illusion. Be careful in all things you get involved in. Peace

    • @romankacin8365
      @romankacin8365 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      As an owner of a PMA you can lease land for 30 years and extend it by 30 years and by a further 20 years. By that time, who knows what the rules will be. Not quite owning but almost the same thing.

    • @JeanVoronkova
      @JeanVoronkova  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@romankacin8365 hey thanks for this input - this is accurate to my understanding as well but it seems now you can actually own the land thru the PMA and you can sell it on. Although the price will be higher than leasing it of course.

I am looking for a way to live in Bali permanently but none of the options apply to me. B211 visa is maximum 6 months and onshore doesn’t exist anymore. PMA/INVESTOR you need to invest 10 billions roupiah!
    Second home is $130,000. And retirement visa is also not for me (I’m not 55 yet). How do you manage to live there ? I am your age and also with a stock portfolio investment. Thank you

    Hi there, I am a University student in Singapore planning on travelling to Bali and living at a friends place for 3 months. I saw in this video you mentioned the B211A C1 tourist visa and that one of the visa agencies you showed in the photo is "BaliVisa". I tried contacting them to get some clarification but seems like they are unsure about one thing which I thought perhaps you might know. Apparently upon entry in Bali it is required that you have a return ticket and not a one way ticket as some customs officers asks for that. However, if I am travelling on a 2 months visa and planning on extending for another 2 months so that I can stay for 3 months legally, how do I do this? Cause I technically can't get a return ticket 3 months upon entering a country with a visa of 2 months when I have not extended yet, seems a bit funny, not sure how this works, need some desperate advice, I have been searching high and low, emailing, but no one seems to read their emails in some organisations these days :(

    Hi Jean... As far as I know, as a foreigner, you can only rent land in Bali with a PMA, not buy it. The other thing, they don't check vaccination status anymore; we just got back from Bali this week, spent a month there, and nobody checked anything at the airport on arrival... We had heard that you could extend a VOA online, but you are not talking about it, so maybe it is not yet an option? I wish we had the option to get a VOA for 60 days and not have to do the renewal process...

    • @JeanVoronkova
      @JeanVoronkova  ปีที่แล้ว

      hi Christine! yes u can extend the VOA online by yourself! I only learnt about it from someone else in the comments to this video haha but i do hv the link to the website for applying the VOA in the description! we've just not used the VOA for years n years so i overlooked that bit. But u can now buy land outright w a PMA actually. Just theres a restriction on resale - only to indonesians it seems.
