THE AIR JORDAN 1 “NATURAL GREY” hasn’t seen a rerelease since 1985. I’ve been spending the last month studying photos of the original model and I decided to recreate the shoe closest to its original appearance. I found that each photo of the ‘85s had different builds and colors from aging. To my best ability I used the general appearance for my own construction to capture the vintage aesthetic. The uppers had to be sewn using my grandmas vintage Singer sewing machine and I hand turned the wheel for each stitch. (Note the OG size tags Wings logo, I added my birthdate and name..)

Same goes for me man, this was very inspiring and I think I am going to use this quarantine to try and make it myself. If you ever decide to take any orders, my true to size is 10.5. However if they fit a half size bigger, smaller, etc, plz let me know before I purchase

and a month later Jordan Brand announces they're gonna retro these.
That had to hurt, but no matter what he can change these to another OG colorway with some Angelus paint because this is the only regular guy I see on budget making Jordan 1 customs straight up in his room and outside while schools out!

When I finished painting, had to stencil by hand. Currently looking to grab some donor soles with a grey bottom and then sole swap so they look complete!

@@haidxr4408 Yeah for sure! My ig is @realbanie but not really that active on it. The paint I used is a mix of angelus dark bone and light grey paint. I made a couple of test mixtures and compared to pics of the natural grey online until I found the shade that worked! If you send me a DM on IG, I'll make sure and send pics of the final product when I get a chance to finish it!

Shoe surgeon has a online class that he teaches you every single step, I made my own Jordan 1 during the class and it turned out pretty good.

I want some Shattered Backboard 3.0s. With great leather so I got some wmns Jordan 1 UNC to CHI and some cheap orange Jordan 1 lows and will paint the Highs in black and orange in a bred colour blocking and put on the orange soles with the white wall. The only sticking point is the wings logo. I have a transfer but will need an airbrush.

the factory code is different for the various colorways, also the chivagos was produced in like 5 different factories with each of the factoires making small adjustments, ie some are more cherry red in the leather and som have bettter foam that doesnt crack today also the facotry called ¨TYPS¨made plauer samples for nike athletes

Saw your pictures on IG, pretty good effort tbh without an 85, looking at my og 85 pair the lower back panel on yours sits way too low and the angle is too straight. If you corrected that back heal panel they would be pretty close.
