Absolutely 💯 loved every bit of not only this episode but the whole season! Thanks Soph for producing such an awesome finale for the Kimberley series! Hello to you both and Chilli!! Hope you both are doing well and staying safe! That little waterfall in croc Creek is so magical guy's! Thank you for bringing me along with you on this adventure! Much love to you both!!
I enjoyed the crap out of this longer episode, however I am a little sad the Kimberly series is over. The Kimberly's are my favourite part of Australia. On to the next adventure!
Loved this last season........EPIC😊 YOUR efforts each week are greatly appreciated. Exciting, informative, enjoyable and entertaining, imho. I've travelled the Kimberley with a mate far and wide, but, it was all on land. To be able to view this place from your eyes is a privilege. Thank you, thank you, Soph and Slim. Fair winds U2 Scallywags
So glad to hear that Neil! We really appreciate you tuning in, and thank you for your kind words. We are so glad to have brought you a different perspective of the Kimberley. Cheers!!
I watch a lot of sailing channels, and you have some of the best content of all of them. My guess is that soon, your channel will be closing in on 100,000 subscribers.
You two are pretty bloody good at this TH-cam thing. I’ve found myself dreaming of an adventure up north thanks to you two. Your yarns are fun and your travels are super unique. Thanks Slim & Soph
Aww cheers! So glad to hear we've inspired a northern Australia trip for you! We're sure you definitely won't regret it! Thanks so much for your kind words, we really appreciate you tuning in!
Thank you, have just loved this season, would not have any idea about the Kimberly's from the sea without you, am grateful for your energies and talents and it's awesome you are both living your best lives❤.❤❤❤
Anyone who has been killed by crocodiles was also certain there were no crocs in the water. You’ve got to be literally insane to get near the water in northern Australia. Those things kill about 1,000 people every year.
Michael here guys, my experience with oyster cooking is to cook as lightly as you can stand. The freshness grows on you, the flavor from over cooking will push you away. I know I've mentioned that others have shown a few of the kimberly places you did, but what does it for me, two things, first your youthful enthusiasm, and then your ON A Sailboat. I made that a prime consideration for any patreon or pretty much any subscription. You'll see a lot of sailing channels on my channel ! Loved every second of your kimberlies !
Hey Michael! Yes, definitely. They need to be cooked lightly, otherwise they go a bit tough. We will definitely keep trying them fresh, I'm sure eventually we will like them...well, Slim can do them, but I just need to work on the raw ones 😅 Thanks so much legend, we're just so glad that you enjoyed the series and appreciate your support, we wouldn't be able to create without people like yourself, so thank you. We're looking forward to sharing our next season with you! Slim & Soph
Hi Michael, I get to eat it straight from the rocks in the Kimberleys (though our friends love it the way Slim and Soph does!). We don't sail as we have a boat with outboard motors but still get to the same beautiful camps and islands off the Kimberley coast of Western Australia. We hope you keep sailing through the channels and make a stop at ours! haha! :)
That servo has one hell of a view! Plus ice creams! I’m really glad you took some time to yourselves and thank you for being honest and open about getting help. It’s awesome what yachties can do when they stop somewhere like the squatters arms and crocodile creek. Those oysters were huge!! That cut out of Miles for the maps is awesome. Crocodile creek is freaking amazing and is a top bucket list spot for me when we get up there. It’s definitely a plus for smaller boats! What a birthday for Slim! Soph thank you so much for all your hard work in creating this masterpiece, it’s perfect!
Hey Edmund! Cheers legend, we can't wait for you to experience Croc creek, you will lose your mind! Cheers for tuning in as always, appreciate your encouragement and kind words you legend! YEW
This series has been one of, if not the best, youtube sailing blogs I have ever seen...I only know one other sailing channel who went there. You two captured the essence of the region, some history, and a whole lot of fun... I will never go there, however I feel like I have paid a visit through you guys. And it was fun. Thank you... Roll on the journey to Perth...
Thanks for the Episode Soph. Happy Birthday Slim, Nothing is worth that much stress, we all will just wait a bit longer if we have to. You guys are so different and enjoyable to watch. So keep those smiles on your dial. Now I've gotto go and tell my mate with his yatch Croc creek.
Slim & Myles - a bromance for the ages 😂😂. It's a bit sad this season is finishing up, I recon this is the best on TH-cam atm 👍👍. But looking foward to next season. Question for Soph ... When Myles leaves, do you ever catch Slim crying himself to sleep ? 😂😂
😂 Hahha, they definitely love a good reunion! Thanks so much for tuning in, we are so glad to hear that you have enjoyed this season. We can't wait to bring you the West Coast!
🤜💥🤛 Wowzers, I was looking forward to this stretch of the coast the most & Damm Slim, Soph & Chilie, Better than my expectations Thank you both Soo much for everything you do bringing this channel to us The Kimberly Dream Scape has been a Kracker Happy Belated Birthday Slim, what a place to spend it Cheers Guys Stevo

Wow, we thought we had found the most stunning anchorage, but this one definitely takes the cake!!! 🥳Happy birthday Slim!!! Amazing episode, outstanding series! You guys are absolutely crushing it! This series was seriously the best out there, cheers guys!
So glad to hear you have enjoyed the series! And so glad we could share such a wonderful and unique landscape with you! Hope you can one day see it for yourself 😄
Thanks guys for the brilliant series through the Kimberley. I have only done the touristy thing out of Broome to the Horizontal Falls and flying over a few other parts and have been to Dalby. Your photography is out of this world. Thanks Soph and Slim for your willingness to bring us all along with you. Thanks to Chilli for just being Chilli.
@paulasclles8362 Paul, Horizontal Falls will be closed soon so you are so lucky to have experienced it. Did you get to fly over Montgomery Reef? We are doing the Kimberleys now and enjoying every moment of it indeed!!!
Yes we did! We were able to see the tidal flows going over and around the reef. Mind blowing the currents moving around the reef. Good to hear you are enjoying your time there.@@Hookedonwildventures
Hey Slim & Soph, Great video on a couple of places I know well. Glad to see that you told a little of the history of Phil & Marion. I knew them well (last time I saw them both was here in Kalgoorlie they were on their way back from Melbourne after attending Phil's father's funeral) & they were great people. Still have some of the jewellery that Marion used to make from the local pearl shell. When I was working on Cockatoo Island, Phil & Marion used to visit and stay overnight regularly (their shopping came in on our charter flights). We also used to go across to Silvergull (you call it Squatters' Camp) to visit them occasionally on our days off. Quick trips across to Crocodile Creek for a swim and a break from work were also a regular thing (often weekly) with a bit of fishing on the way back to Cockatoo - never failed to catch something for the cook to serve up on a Friday night. The old camping shack / shelter that you mentioned was still there in those days - I believe it was destroyed in a cyclone and the remains removed later on. It was made out of steel pipe and sailcloth, and there used to be dozens of hand-carved plaques (some on wood, some on boat parts, some on rubber thongs) left there by the many boaties who have been there over the years. Your video brought back great memories of the good times up there - I've been following your series waiting for you to get to this part of the country. Keep on enjoying this great country while you can - but you have already seen the best bit.
That looked like an epic birthday, Simon. Happy birthday! Sophie, thanks for a beautifully edited Kimberley finale. Sad to see the end of the Kimberley but looking forward to the new adventures.
I've got a photo in that exact location of a six metre croc climbing into the first pool and then the second pool. Just be aware that crocs can and do climb into fresh water!
Absolutely Mindblowing! This video alone has inspired me more than any other I've ever seen to go Sailing, And I've seen a lot! You two are total Legends! 😍
Happy Birthday Simon and congratulations for another truly inspiring episode! I WANNA GO THERE! 😝😁 Let us know how the Crocodile creek home-brew goes (And when we can buy it in Dan Murphys!😉)
Sadly its the finale for the Kimberleys enjoyed every episode guys this one was a brilliant way to finish off and Happy birthday Slim take care fair winds and following seas. Cheers
I love the way y’all got so excited for the ice cream!!!! You guys have such a great sense of humor! The fish being on a long weekend cracked me up!🤣 the oysters comment was hilarious! If you can’t catch an oyster! 🤣🤣🤣 maybe you should consider being a vegetarian…😝😝😝
Great vid, but you got the mining of the island wrong, they’re not slowly mining the whole island, only a very small part of it and they’re going down not across it. The mine will be exhausted of Ore in about 3 years.
I work on that mine site currently and just purchased my yacht and looking to sail up there so thank you so much for your vids. I sailor just told me about your channel and I love it. Thanks!
Slim and Soph thanks for a fantastic finale of your time in the Kimberly's. Such an enjoyable, exciting adventure. Your friend Miles seems like an awesome fun wild guy. Couple weeks you'll meet back up and get to sample your Croc Beer. Definitely this last special anchorage was "WOW"!!! Fantastic. I guess you are both looking forward to getting some fruit and veggie's as well as meats, eggs ect at your next anchorage. I am really looking forward to your next adventures and yes, a video of the Kimberly highlights would definitely be well worth seeing. Looking forward to next video stay safe
