I got the gunmetal finished one, and it has been the best high quality of all the ones I’ve bought thus far, even though it’s been the most expensive, which still isn’t expensive from what I’ve learned so far about safety razors!!
Not certain about which would perform better as I don't have a 6S model. The 6S being made from stainless steel would most likely be heavier than the 6C. From what I can tell based on info from Rockwell the blade gap and angle are the same for both razors, so the shaves should be very similar if not identical. We only have had positive comments from those who have purchased the 6C and 2C from us. The chrome may fade, but with regular cleaning the chrome should last a long time. I just had my grandpa's '54 Superspeed re-plated about 2 years ago, so hopefully it won't have to be done again for another 60 years or so.
Blue Gear Chrome is a super hard material. You will wear out before a chrome razor does. I have a chrome Gillette razor from 1959 and it is still in great shape.
It is just STUPID that TH-cam gave you copyright grief over a 6 sec song snippet. Whatever happened to the Fair Use doctrine? The cleverness of the song, artist name and its mention/sample in this type of video would have done a hell of a lot more to promote the artist and encourage a new generation to look him up.. Anyway, well done presentation with humor and intelligence but wonder if TH-cam would have got its panties in a bunch if you'd modelled a corncob pipe that Norman Rockwell was so fond of puffing? ;-)

Wow I can see that this is the 6S version 1. They have since come out with V2 which is much better
