I had some pandemic related delays on parts, but my builder T5 specialties killed it. I’m honestly not sure what the time frame is like these days, sorry.
Not sure what the set is called, but they are still helical cut and synchronized, and I got the upgraded main shaft as well as the HD case. It whines a bit more than stock did, but still pretty quiet.
Good morning, how is it holding up if you don't mind me asking. Got a bone stock 350 that im probably just gonna throw heads that don't leak on it and an exhaust that'll work with it. I'm a little uneasy about throwing my stock non wc t5 i just bought behind it
It will work stock.. longevity would depend on how you’re driving it. VERY happy with the GForce build. Would recommend to anyone! Thanks for watching!
@@Athoroughgamer I had mine built by a local builder who came highly recommended in the racing community around here. I had him source the right gear-sets so I didn’t screw it up haha. Even if you’re running stock, I recommend the Pro 5.0 shifter if you like to shift hard!
Sorry for the late response. I’m running a stock bell housing right now, and a single disk rated for 500hp (can’t remember the brand sorry). The plan is to custom drill a steel housing for it and update the throw out bearing
@@DirtBikesDragRadials the T5 in the gen 4 f-body with the 3800 V6 sits the same way. I've added boost the the V6, and am aiming towards g force gears, and the steel retainer plate upgrade for the counter shaft bearing.
It holding!! I didn’t get to use the car as much as I wanted this with COVID and shutdowns, but when I do, I’m not nice to it. It loves to rev, 7000 RPM power shifts are a regular thing. I hate listing HP numbers that I can’t prove yet. But the engine builder has been building race motors in our area for 40+ years, and is fairly confident it makes about 500 at the crank. Torque is impressive on the but dyno but I don’t know. When I do, you can bet there will be a video on here!! Thanks for your question!
I’ve been runny G-Force T5 for about 13yrs. It will hold up fine and cheaper than going T56. Way less money and modifying.
Mine holds up to my 388ci 520hp Miniram SBC. I shift at 6400rpms.
They should have you make a commercial.
It's coming along nicely. Mine is in the up on blocks stage.
So bro, where you get the trans mount bracket? Because the ones that's on Summit, only saying it's for automatic, I can't find the one you have.
Been looking at a G-force T5 for awhile now for my Factory Five Cobra. Curious how long you waited for yours to show up after ordering it. Thanks!

Hi this is Rick from T5 Specialties. The time frame is 2-3 weeks.
What version g force gears did you get? I didn’t hear whining from straight cut gear

How long have u had it. Was looking into saving during the winter to get the gforce from. Rick at t5 specialties.
It’s been in about a year now. It works so well. Never misses a shift, works exactly as he said it would. Worth every penny.

@@DirtBikesDragRadials what's the best way to go about one, buying the gears, syncros and case separately? I can't find compmete GM ones anywhere

I'm looking for a shop to refresh a f-body lt1 t56, your rebuilder good for that?
The very best in this area!!
What clutch setup and bellhousing are you running recently picked up a 91 rs and wanting to sbc swap it

You tried so hard! I bet it is heavier than the stock t5
How much for total install for my 83 Camaro?
I'll do it for cheap
When installed is it tilted towards the driver side.
Yes it is

@@boosted0079 depending on your hp expectations, I’d definitely recommend the HD main case. It is a weak point in these T5’s!
It's easier to do that on your back with the trans on your chest!
How's it holding up? Whats the hp/tq of your car?
