I'll see if we can do something to answer your question. They're hard to compare since Round Rock proper is a an entire city and Steiner is a development. Is there a more specific question that I can help answer? ☺
Do you think the Austin market will sustain these prices in years to come with 5+% interest rates? From my point of view very-high home prices destroys the benefit of no-property-tax that Texas offers. The amount of income you would need to offset property tax alone at the new prices is really very high. I guess, do you think we will completely replace the native home-owning population with $250k earners? I'm not sure which way it is going, but to me it does not feel sustainable.
It’s hard to say exactly. I want to make sure I understood the comment about property taxes though; Texas has some of the highest property taxes in the country, but no income tax. Is that what you meant ? 🙃 I think your assessment is correct, native buyers have already been replaced with higher income earners. There is still a lot of money in Austin though and many our clients are from here.
Palmera Ridge vs. Rancho Sienna vs. Santa Rita Ranch?
Would like to hear the comparison between Steiner Ranch and Round Rock please
