I didn't feel any trouble, on city i covering around 80kms on a day and it was just fine + i had 130kg of total weight on my bike...i am not sure if you can do that with city bike or not
I have been using an MTB too since 2 years now and I done feel any issue either, most of the MTBs unless they are 30k+ are designed considering city travel aswell and hence it is pretty comfortable.

Till Manali you can get hotel lodge etc.after that either you pitch your tent or stay in dhabas...no booking options as you will get no internet connectivity till keylong

Great as always....i am curious about brake's performance, inbuilt brake set se hi puri trip ka kaam ho gaya?? Ya replace karne pade...how was the performance of brakes at times of sudden emergency?
Bhai breaks are good...stopping power is great...did not replace anything till now...i might have to replace the break pads after couple of months though but thats ok...ye bike ek month me jitna chal chuki hai..utnaa kayee cycles ka life span bhi nahi hotaa 😝

Thank you! My honest advice for you is to go to decathlon store, and just pick up a hybrid bike from BTWIN series and take it for a ride inside the store..they allow it. See how are you feeling, how is saddle, if you feel the ride is comfortable ..just go for it.

Hey buddy unfortunately this model has been discontinued however if you're are from delhi i would recommend you to visit bicycle market in Jhandewala ...i got it from there only...you might find it there or may be a better upgrade

But it doesn’t matter now as i told you how much i paid for it...so you can ask for this particular model & bargain...also the budget depends upon your surviving instincts...if you are strong enough to pitch a tent in the wild & if you can sleep in guruduwaras to save money then self supported trip will cost you less 😊

There is no such limit but its advisable to make such trips after 18 only..cos there are many check posts on the way who enquire about your details and might object if you're not adult

I am not familiar with that location...see if you're going to hit the hills in between your destination, then better go for an MTB rather then a road bike...any MTB with gears, disc breaks & front and back quick release would do the job
my experience with buying a bicycle at jhandewalan has been that they sell you the flashiest crappiest bike, the kind of thing an indian would readily go for.. ..talking of long back when i used to go there as a kid with my dad.. the price at which you bought this is really nice..something i can also consider spending... i bought a firefox target in 2006 when the company launched in india and i really like my bike although i dont ride it much... how did you know about things like lockable shockers and how could you tell good quality components like gears, changers and brakes from gimmicky ones? i wonder... good research on dedicated online forums is my guess..
Thats true...i did a lot of research as this was my first solo self supported ride & that too one of the most remote destination “leh ladhak” as i was going to ride a bike for almost 1200 kms, i wanted to be sure about my equipment & accessories..hence did a lot of research in google & youtube & based on some of the experts inputs...I created my on requirement list 😊

Me planning to ride from hyderabad to deoghar, jharkhand. I know it's not a great tour but I wish to do... So I start searching cycles i found one hybrid cycle btwin 100 ... Is it suggestble for highway road
I would say any bicycle would be good which has removable front n rear wheels to fix the flat tyre situation..thats the only requirements for highways

After few months will start planning for three months continue riding. could u please suggest a cycle which is comfort for . My second ride will be narmada parikrama like river sarrounding.
I am not familiar with that location...see if you're going to hit the hills in between your destination, then better go for an MTB rather then a road bike...any MTB with gears, disc breaks & front and back quick release would do the job
my experience with buying a bicycle at jhandewalan has been that they sell you the flashiest crappiest bike, the kind of thing an indian would readily go for.. ..talking of long back when i used to go there as a kid with my dad..
the price at which you bought this is really nice..something i can also consider spending... i bought a firefox target in 2006 when the company launched in india and i really like my bike although i dont ride it much... how did you know about things like lockable shockers and how could you tell good quality components like gears, changers and brakes from gimmicky ones? i wonder... good research on dedicated online forums is my guess..
Thats true...i did a lot of research as this was my first solo self supported ride & that too one of the most remote destination “leh ladhak” as i was going to ride a bike for almost 1200 kms, i wanted to be sure about my equipment & accessories..hence did a lot of research in google & youtube & based on some of the experts inputs...I created my on requirement list 😊
I will also buy this MTB bycyle...your experience helpful for me

bro did u use inflatable mattress or foam mattress under ur sleeping bag....can we go for yoga mat instead of foam mattresses? and i want to ask u few more ques but i don't use insta...is there any otr way i can connect to you? and needless to say, ur videos are extremely inspiring.
I used Yoga matt only buddy offcourse couple it with my sleeping bag..which was rated for -5 digree temperature...you can connect me through twitter as well @tjgehc is my twitter handle

Nope I didn't consult any doctor & carried Diamox & some other basic medicine like calpol, etc
