in this video i talk about star wars battlefront classic collection patch 1. overall the game is a lot better but still has a lot of problems, i also talk about the future of the game.
I wouldn’t hold your breath on Aspyr adding new things to the game. They’ve worked other original Star Wars games and all they do is essentially port those games to modern consoles. It’s an easy cash grab. I see no reason for them to spend the resources/manpower on adding new content to the original BF games unless they can milk dlc/microtransactions off it.
I still haven’t bought it, waiting for all the stupid bugs to get squashed and see if they add any quality of life improvements that should’ve been added for a 2024 release. Frustrated but I’m glad there’s progress
if you are on pc i can’t really recommend it (bc of pricing) but if you played these games back on ps2/xbox it’s really nice to have them on modern platforms even with there bugs
@@juliet4093yep. I still own the OG games on console, see zero reason to buy the new version. But yes 2005 Battlefront 2 had 4 player split screen which still works perfectly on Xbox series X/S
Halfway through the video and half of your complaints aren't bugs nor glitches, just 'features' you're unhappy with/don't like. "This does not feel like they put any heart and soul into it" but then you claim they should remove loading screens and leave it as a black screen(???) Additionally, idk where you got the idea that this is some type of Remaster because it's called a 'Collection.' The entire game is a port and there's no point attacking the lack of change. It was never portrayed as anything more. There's so much to dislike about these games in current state but I just feel like you're missing the mark on most of these :/

The Plasmarifle actually does damage but only to your allies

Adding 4 split screens is not a trivial matter, who knows if the renderer can even do it

On pc there’s no controller support so no split screen at all
