    Just an idea.. why not just weld those oil holes shut instead of messing with bearings and drilling?

      The biggest draw back would be increased vibration from the engine. But many state they don't notice a difference. I personally don't when they are done but these engines are used in a performance environment with stiffer engine mounts anyways. The risk the balance shafts present for failure is worth it alone for the delete. Other benefits would be improved rpm response and less parasitic drag and less areas of the block require oiling so the oiling system doesn't have to worry about feeding a balance shaft that if fails can also cause low.oil pressure

      Я уаалил оба вала. Установил подшипники, рззвернул их на 180⁰. Ничего больше не делал.
      Валы отрезал.
      Вибрация на холостых незначительная.
      Пробежал уже 60 000 км. Все хорошо.
