    How would you assemble for 2 8inch cakes? Would you cut the 8 inch cakes in half so you have 4 layers?

      This is question too. I guess if you wanted the height but would have to be careful of the cake to filling ratio i think

    lil confusion...have u made separate ganache drip..or take from the frosting ganache...?... only 1 time made ganache ..am i right?

      i made it together, because I am pretty fast at decorating and assembling the cake, but on the recipe I am listing the ingredients separately, because if you let the ganache sit for too long, or if you plan on assembling the cake on the next day, the ganache will become hard and lose the drip consistency, because it needs to be at a precise consistency for it to drip. And if you aren't used to making cakes or making drips, youll have to warm the ganache in the microwave, and then there's the risk of it becoming too runny, which then would require that you let it rest even longer, or place it in the fridge for just a little bit. So it's more confusing if you make the ganache all at once. So I put the measurements separately so you can make the ganache twice, this way it will be at the right drip consistency.

    What is the right temperature for the oven??? Is just that it's my first time doing a cake so I want it to be good...

      350 fahrenheit. I recommend also reading the instructions on the post: www.piesandtacos.com/chocolate-cherry-cake/ they are super detailed.

      haha yes it was!!! I didn't want it to be too soft because I didn't want it to soak into the cake, I wanted it chunky so it would stay firm in the cake :)
