Cantabria is great but Asturias is awsome! You should try sidra asturiana (cider from Asturias) and cabrales (local blue cheese) and also fabada is a must (beans stew asturian style) so good! Loving your Camino videos
We've fallen in love with Asturias. We get to try some authentic Asturian food in the next few videos and it was amazing.

Hi, Audrey and Griffin, I've noted that you call "caña" to the beer that comes from a faucet, that's not the case, we use to call it beer as a whole thing, bottled beer if it cames in bottles, and "cerveza de grifo" if it cames froma a faucet on the bar. "Caña" is the name of a especific tipe of glass , medium size, is not a goblet, when you order a caña in general you are asking for a glass of beer.
There are other specifications like "zurito" on the Basque Country that is even smaller, it comes in a flat glass of about half a caña, and bigger sizes we usually refers a "copa de cerveza", a goblet of beer.
"Tirar la cerveza" (to serve it in the glass) is an art, giving the exact amount of foam on the goblet.
Wow. Thanks, I've been really confused about that. I've found that the caña size is a perfect glass of beer. Until we discovered the sidre in Asutrias.

This cup of beer is 1/3 liter, it's bigger than a "caña" , this one is a glass 1/5 litter.

Queridos Geezer & Blonde, como veo que os gusta disfrutar de una buena copa de vino blanco, me permito aconsejaros que no pidáis un vino blanco, sino un Albariño! Y no es caro. Un Albariño, bien frío, con una ración de pulpo a la gallega, con unos calamares o con unas gambas cocidas o a la plancha, eso es un placer de dioses! Si no lo habéis probado ya, os va a encantar. Tiene un punto de acidez, pero está muy rico. Y cuidado, que crea adicción, je, je!
Sí, sí y sí. Hemos descubierto que amamos el albariño y las gambas cocidas, pero no hemos probado el pulpo gallega, definitivamente lo probaremos la próxima vez.
