I met my husband and pretty much got pregnant and married straight away then got pregnant again 9 months later. I'd previously been in a 4 year relationship but it ended. He had no goals, no drive and was happy sponging off me and yet not really being a good partner. He said to me one day "if you were half the size you are you'd be the perfect girlfriend". I was shocked he said this. He said my personality made up for the fact I was overweight and had stretch marks. I didn't like this. I wanted someone to love me. To love all of me. I met my husband not long after who loves my stretch marks.
At this point a few years in I have two girls. The younger one has bright curly red hair and is fair and the older one has dark brown hair and more towards olive skinned. They are both super tall for their ages even though I am 5 foot 1. My family is very tall so they both tower over their classmates.
I was walking down the street pushing my double pram. I saw him approaching. Then he stopped. He looked at my eldest girl and then looked at me. Then just stood there staring at her. His eyes didn't move from her face. It creeped me out so I panicked, turned around and literally ran away with my pram.
I wondered why he just stood there staring and then I realised he was probably wondering if the oldest one was his daughter because she was so tall she could have easily passed for a year or two older.
He never did get in contact though luckily. Haha.
Ironically I am now half the weight I was then but I lost it to qualify for surgery not because of a silly man.

I mean...kinda. My mom sleeps with a hand gun next to recliner (where she usually falls asleep) and her boyfriend keeps one in his nightstand drawer. For years I slept with a knife under my pillow because my brothers didn’t exactly make home life in my teen years “safe”. Between their drug and alcohol habits and physical abuse towards me, they were also constantly bringing internet strangers into the house. Sometimes their drug dealers too when mom wasn’t home- which was a lot because every opportunity she got she was away on trips with her ex boyfriend or at his house in another state. I was alone a lot in a dangerous environment so sleeping with a knife made me feel a bit better because my door didn’t have a lock. I was never allowed to have a lock because my room was the only access point for the attic no matter how much I begged and apparently my brothers would “never do such a thing” and I just wanted attention.

@@justriri3630 Came close a couple times when people kept trying to sneak into my room but once they saw it they left.
However I did still manage to get the nickname “knife girl” in high school though (very original I know) One of my brothers threw a party at the house. Many of my classmates and even jr high kids were there drinking and smoking pot (probably other stuff too but I only remember seeing the pot). It was a school night so I have no idea how they were all there without their parents saying anything or how they were planning to get through school the next day. By about 10pm the party was nowhere near ending and I was getting fed up. Nobody was wanting to leave no matter how many times I told them all to get out and my brother was not going to do anything because he was wasted and hitting on two girls I went to school with- don’t worry I took much pleasure in being the bearer of bad news and informing him that the two “seniors” he was hitting on were actually 14 year old 8th graders and promptly took their drinks and kicked them out. He’s a creep but he would never knowingly touch a minor. So I went to the kitchen and got a butcher knife and stood on the coffee table (because everyone pays attention to the person with the weapon) and screamed for them all to get out before I called the cops. It took a few minutes of them grumbling and flipping me off but eventually they all left. After that I was known as “knife girl” and a major kill joy for the rest of high school. Some of my classmates never stopped hating me for it

Never had an ex, as this is my first relationship and we’re going strong.
But the amount of times I’ve heard the crazy relationship stories at my high school or even just among my friends is wild.
One broke up with a boyfriend who insisted they do it raw. He did a lot of other toxic stuff too though.
Another broke up because he was moving away for military I think, and was really sad after, they got back together though when he returned. She called herself dumb for not trying the long distance thing instead.
And all the popular boys and girls were straight up playing with each other’s feelings and cheating on each other.
The most well known pan guy would hoe around and everytime they did try to settle down would get their heart broken. They eventually got a healthy relationship and moved away. Man had a lot of problems and was clearly hoeing as SH but I’m glad they got a healthier relationship.

Because of a threat issued by my crazy ex I slept with a hunting knife under my pillow for the better part of 2 years. • @thewugglyump8045

Sleeping with a loaded gun under the pillow is a BIG gun safety no-no, even in the USA. It's a great way to accidentally cause yourself serious injury or worse. I guess with a knife under the pillow you're unlikely to stab yourself through the head, but it sounds uncomfortable. At that rate I think I'd rather have a sheath or holster on me but I'm in a pretty safe area so in fairness it isn't a concern for me.

Sleeping with a gun under the pillow is foolish. If it's loaded, it can go off and injure yourself or anyone else sleeping in your bed. A kid can get to it really quickly, dangerous! I've heard of gun owners putting them in a night stand drawer, though. Me, I sleep with wasp spray next to my bed, within easy reach. Not as deadly, wider range of 'damage', and an equal deterrent. Also, doesn't kill the kids or other friends/ family by accident. The victim can be taken to the hospital to have the poison effects reversed.

About the story at 7:28 I can kind of relate to this. I dated a guy for a few days and he turned out to be pretty controlling and judgemental. One day when I was late for work he approached me and barraged me with accusations. I was under such amount of stress that I didn't react at all. I was just glad to reach my bus and being able to call into work and let my boss know that I'll be late because public transports didn't drive regularly that day and my stop was skipped so I had to walk all the way to the next town where I usually go by bus instead of on foot
The next time he saw me he approached me again and wanted me to give him a second chance. I didn't want to be confrontational on the bus because there was no way to avoid him if he didn't take it the right away. So I just brushed him off with a maybe and that was that. We live close by but I'm glad that I haven't bumped into him again

I've never heard of anyone sleeping with a gun under their pillow or even a knife... I live in the US. Though In more Southern areas I wouldn't put it past them.

Anyone with a smidgen of sense would not sleep with an unloaded gun under their pillow, much less a loaded gun, even down here in the South. I do know people who sleep with one under the bed, but never directly under the pillow. Knives are a different story, I've known a few people in the past who did so because it made them feel safe.

Yeah I don’t really sleep with a gun under my pillow I have a kitchen knife hidden in my closet in a box for protection. I think sleeping with a gun under your pillow sounds like a Texas thing.

2:16 watching a American stereotype rorm into a question 🤣 so I can tell you that us average Americans don't have guns under our pillows, we don't have guns at all. But some people have guns and I don't doubt that people sleep with guns under their pillows. The closest to a gun I've seen is a air soft gun and a bebe gun. I dont know much about guns at all though, those were my dad's, he posses alot of pocket knives though because their handy and the world is a dangerous place. Since my dad is sober now alot of people reading this would think my dad is a fun guy.
